Hi, everyone! I'm sure some of you already know, but that Thanksgiving Holiday is coming up again! I know there are a lot of people here who already have plans, but I got to thinking, and, well ... I know there are some people here who don't really have anywhere to go for the holidays.

So! Who doesn't have anywhere to go? Or, who doesn't have any plans already?

I was thinking maybe those of us who want to can set up a Thanksgiving potluck somewhere in the city, so that people who don't exactly have a place to go and want to celebrate their holiday with somebody can still come by, have some food, socialize with people ... that sort of thing. It's never fun to be alone on a holiday that's all about togetherness, after all.

That said ... any takers? Does anybody like this idea at all? If we all work together on the food and festivities, I think we could really make the holiday special for everybody!

[ She's obviously quite excited about the idea, herself. She'd probably do all the cooking and plan everything herself even if there wasn't a lot of interest. ]

[Wow, humans sure do have a lot of holidays? And something called thanksgiving? Like, what the fuck is even up with that. What does it mean?]

It's a holiday I learned about last year. The short version is that you spend the day with your loved ones, eat a lot of food, and be thankful for everything and everyone in your life.

I guess people needed a day for it? I think it's based off of some history that I don't know much about, actually.

Either way, it's a big enough deal that I wanted to do something for the people who don't have their immediate families here in the city.
