[So everyone likes a little bit of unintentional blackmail, right?
How about a nice shot of Vanitas napping against someone's side where he actually looks completely normal and/or harmless? It sure seemed like a fantastic idea to Kimblee.]
When he's like this he seems human, doesn't he? He's been like this for a good fifteen minutes and I just don't have the heart to disturb him. [Kimblee brings his hand down to start playing with Vanitas' hair for a few seconds, something he had been doing before he started the broadcast, then he starts to move him.
Or at least he tries.
...Vanitas isn't budging, and whenever he tries to move him, he goes with. Then Kimblee attempts to move--Vanitas still doesn't budge.
Thiiiiiiiiis can't be good. LAMUFAO WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO HIM.]
All right then, apparently I'm not going anywhere for awhile.

All right then, apparently I'm not going anywhere for awhile.
action
It'll be a bit before he finally started to wake up. His breathing started to change and for a moment his whole body tensed as he realize this wasn't normal. It took a couple of seconds before memory clicked in before he relaxed again. Cracking an eye open to see if there was any changes on the television or the amount of light from the windows to figure how much time passed.]
Not sure why anyone would stay put for this long. [He still sounded sleepy.]
action
[He places his SFC on the arm of the couch, but not before checking the clock.]
It's only been an hour, maybe two. I've sat around for longer than this before just because there was literally nothing else to do, unlike our Count. [Besides you know, bugging the shit out of his guards.]
action
[Screwing with guards was probably fun at least. He did note the SFC was present though.
Moving the pillow out of his lap to place on Kimblee's.]
That isn't any reason to stay any longer. [You are crazy and Vanitas wouldn't afford the same consideration if the roles were reversed.
So why did Kimblee stay?]
action
[Especially the newbies. They were the best ones to freak out when he was in a good mood.
Or a bad one.]
I wasn't aware I needed a reason to sit around on my own couch.
[Problem?]
action
Skipping that topic.]
You don't. [Big problem. Not going to even touch it though. Stretching out before he decided to try to slide out from where he was nestled against Kimblee. Not that Kimblee smells bad, but this touchy stuff has got to sto-
Only to raise a brow when he felt the other still.]
action
...I don't know what happened, so don't ask me.
[See, dealing with a sleeping Vanitas? He could roll with it! But a concious Vanitas? Not only that, but a conscious Vanitas this close? Yeah, he'd have a small problem with it.]
Re: action
Finally got an explanation for why the mark was glowing at least. [Crossing his arms as he sinks back against the couch.
...that also explained why Kimblee didn't move.
Don't mind him as he touches around the area of connection.]
action
[He raises his arm up higher, cautiously watching Vanitas poke and prod.]
It's almost like glue.
Re: action
Wonder if it'll cut off. [Good news, he probably wouldn't try cutting Kimblee? Since that'll run the risk of being blown up and he's not up for that experience yet.]
action
[VANITAS......]
action
I did say blood would look good on you. [A beat.] Wouldn't be yours though. [That should be enough to tell Kimblee where he had in mind to cut.] If it lasts longer than a day... [You aren't stopping him.
A week like this was a weakness. Even if it was someone who could blow anything up, there wasn't any reason for him to help. And relying on that would also be a weakness.
Sure, they were something but...]
action
[Seriously Vanitas, did you fall off of the cliffs in the Graveyard when you were born? Even he wouldn't be that desperate!
Because he'd probably deal with the problem a different way.]
action
Several times.
Does that count?]
If you've been paying attention you would know it's the opposite. [He'll start relaxing against the couch again.]
action
Then I don't see what the problem is if it lasts a bit longer than a day. [A brow goes up.] Unless something about that scares you?
action
And why would something like that scare me? [Kimblee, why were you trying to press the stubborn button?]
action
You don't seem like the dependent type. [What other buttons can he push?]
action
That's because it would be stupid to be dependent on someone. [Let's ignore how he was unguarded and asleep on Kimblee, okay?
And any button you want ;3]action
It's not that stupid. [Perfect blackmail.
Awesome.]action
It's an exploitable weakness. From what I've seen people are able to sacrifice themselves for those who will sooner abandon them.
[Maybe the whole him making sure that Kimblee remained as himself miiiiiight be clicking in to sense now. Maybe.]
You don't seem the dependent type either.
action
I'd sooner sacrifice the other person, not myself.
[Though depending on who it was, he might end up actually hesitating.]
Circumstances took the privilege of independence away for several years.
action
That is one of your appealing traits. [Yes. One of them. That sure was a plural there.
Though finding someone to manipulate in to ending themselves for you does have an appeal, it isn't something he wants connected to himself. It goes with the whole no weakness thing.]
And what about now?
action
One of them?
[The next question earns a light frown.]
It's complicated.
[That's really just the easiest way to put it.]
action
I'm not making a list. [Figure it out yourself, Alchemist.]
Did you finish the movie? [Used topic change.]
action
My good looks can't be part of it. [Shh let him play around.]
I paused it like I said I would.
action
I do like the color of your eyes.
[Because gold eyes were the best colors. For obviously non-biased reasons.]
Guess we can finish it since we have the time.
