Experiment 003 [Video/ Action]

I was wondering if it would snow here.

[From the looks of it, a certain genius is up on the island enjoying a hot cup of cocoa and the winter weather. For once, she can actually enjoy the snow and not worry that it might be hiding something more.. sinister. ]

So, who would like to build a snowman~?

[She shrugs.]

Can I join you?

[It's been a while since she was able to play in snow.]

If I didn't want people to join me, I wouldn't have left an open invitation~.

[That makes sense.]

[And she will, don't mind the nine year old bundled and ready for snow shenanigans a few minutes later.]

[As long at the nine year old doesn't mind a twelve year old looking girl waiting for her, they should be good.]

Welcome~. Have you ever made a snowman before?

[She nods and looks around at the snow.]

It's been a little while.

Head or body first?

Lets work on the body first. I'll do the middle and how about you do the bottom?

[Already she's packing a ball of snow in her hands and looking to start rolling it around once it was too big for her hands.]

[She nods and starts work on the bottom. It takes a couple tries, but soon she's rolling the ball around and working on making it bigger. As it grows, so does the small smile on her face; she hadn't played in snow in a while.

It was cold, but she'd always really liked the stuff. Besides, snow meant warm drinks after!]

[Warm drinks and cookies! Once the snowball was big enough in her to roll around, Washu was humming and smiling as she worked to make the ball big enough for the middle of the snowman.

It's been awhile since she's been able to do something this fun with others~.]

[ have a very excitable country. ]

That sounds like so much fun!

[Whoa. She hasn't seen someone this excitable in awhile.]

Then why don't you come join me?

[ most things are exciting for him. ]

That sounds great! I'll be right there~~~

[ he'll be there as soon as the elevator can take him up to the island. ]

Then I'll be waiting.

[When he arrives, Washu is easy to spot sipping on hot cocoa. After all, how many 12 year olds are there with her unique hair style?]

[ give it a few.... wait for it.... then there! Have an excited country! ]

Hi! I'm Italy~~. Let's make some snowmen!

[That.. is one really excitable man.]

It's a pleasure to meet you Italy. I'm Little Washu.

[And as soon as she finishes her cocoa, she's packing a snowball to begin rolling into something much bigger.]

Then lets get started~. Why don't you work on one section and I do another?

Si, si! Sounds like fun~
[ he gathers some snow as well, packing it into a small snowball then rolling it up a bit. ]

[The petite scientist smiles as she hums to herself while rolling the snowball around to make it bigger. soon enough she has a decent sized one for the bottom and stops.

There's a quick glance towards her new friend to see just how far he's gotten on his own part.]

[ Italy's managed to roll a decent sized snowball good enough for a base of a snowman. ]

Perfect~!

[Her own snowball looks like it would make a perfect middle. Washu easily picks up the packed snow as it it weighed nothing and moves to set it down on top of the other ball. She takes a few steps back and grins.]

Now all we need is a head.

Ve, ve, we do. Hm.

[ he goes to excitedly roll up a ball for the head. ]

Then why don't you make the head and I'll find decorations!

[Since he was already making it anyway, may as well gather things to put on the snowman.]

Si si! [ he nods. this sure is fun! He balls up the snow some more. Definitely need a sufficient head. But while he waits, he shapes the face so it looks more human. His people have a history of sculpting so it's pretty easy for him. ]

[When she comes back with decorations, shes a little surprised to see he's sculpting the head. Even Washu can tell that he has quite the talent for it and smiles a little.]

That looks wonderful! Why don't you sculpt some of the body to match the head?

Sure!

[ Italy happily goes to work sculpting a human-like body in the snowman. ]

Well, it didn't take you long to get into the spirit.

Of course not. It's been awhile since I've been able to enjoy snow and it not have a bad connotation.

Is that the case?

In a manner of speaking.

[Tech shrugs.]

As you say.

I haven't made one in ages!

Then why don't you come up and make one with me?

Where are you now then?

On the island near the hot cocoa. I won't be that hard to spot.

Yeah, I should be able to find that. I'll be right over. Oh, I'm Hijiri, by the way!

Little Washu? Is there a big Washu then? [laughs]
