[VIDEO] Digital Devil Stupid
[ The camera seems to be focused on a peach held in one hand. Its skin looks wrinkly and brown and all kinds of squashy at the top. Yep, that peach is definitely rotting.
The voice that accompanies this video of a sad looking fruit is a nice tenor, though the tone is rather flat. It's like a :| given aural form. ]
Do any of you know what causes this?
[ There's a small pause from the off-camera speaker. ]
I would like to cure it.
[ SORRY NO-FACE WE HAVE WASTED YOUR GIFT. Rest in peach. ]
((ooc: Help I can't stop doing silly things. Replies will come from Serph and/or Cielo! ))

I'm sorry to inform you that your peach is dying a very painful death and you'd do it a huge favor if you could set it on fire and release it from its pain.
[So very serious about this.]
voice
Really? Why is it dying?
[It's very sad to hear that their peach is suffering so much. If Cielo and Serph ever find themselves in custody of another peach, they would like to prevent this tragedy from happening again!]
voice
Because it's old. Peaches don't live very long at all. Rather tragic, if you ask me, they taste pretty good. But once it turns brown and grows fur, it'S far, far too late for the peach.
[By eating the peach because really, why waste a perfectly good peach? It's not as if the peach was their adopted kid.]
voice
Oh, so peaches are food then.
[He had never seen a peach before, and it's a mystery to him how he even knew it was called a peach in the first place. (And yet he didn't know it was something you ate.) Now he feels bad for wasting it.]
voice
You've never eaten a peach before? Or seen one? Really?
[Then again, Anders has only seen one because he caught a rare shipment of them and decided to... borrow a couple of them.] In either case, you could try to find a new one, they taste pretty good. Very sweet.
voice
[He really, really, really wants to try one now.]

Are peaches reborn?
[ Completely serious about this :|b ]
voice
If you count turning into a black, smelly ball with white fur covering it as reborn then yes. And I wouldn't recommend eating it anymore unless you want to get sick.
[Will Anders have to explain to you where trees come from, Serph?]
voice
Being reborn means being returned to your beginning state.
[ Yes. ]
video;
It's rotting. Looks like ya wasted a good peach.
[And she hates wasted food.]
voice
[ He sounds genuinely serious about this question! ]
voice
You don't even know what rotting is? It's no good. Ya gotta throw it out. That's what happens when you wait too long to eat a fruit.
[Did he seriously not know...?]
voice
What are the benefits to eating a fruit?
[ Does it have healing properties? Cure an ailment? ]
voice
What do ya mean 'what's the benefits to eating a fruit'? It's food! If ya don't eat food, you'll starve.
voice
Some edible things in my world have other benefits. Rations help mend broken tissue. Panaceas help calm a panicking person down.

That is caused by bacteria and other organisms existing and multiplying on the peach, which results in it rotting. I am afraid there is no cure for it.
voice
How can rotting be prevented?
voice
It cannot fully be prevented, however washing a fruit after purchasing it should keep the bacteria from multiplying quite so quickly.
voice
I see. Thank you for the information.

[She looks at the peach, and then has to look away from it in disgust, pondering on the voice; hoping she didn't get it wrong or something silly like that.]
It is you, isn't it?
voice
[ It's not that gross, is it? :|a ]
Why is there no cure?
voice
[She sighs. Switching to voice after all.]
But don't worry. It won't cost you anything to get another one.
voice
This was a gift.
voice
[:|a Wait a sec. She has to raise an eyebrow here, tilting her head. Even if he can't exactly see her doing it.]
Someone gave you rotten fruit?
