007 - [Accidental Video]
[What began as the harmless gift of a bunch of costume mermaid tails transformed, after making its way around town, into the rather fishy rumor that Tifa was secretly a mermaid. The miniskirts made it clear enough that she had legs during the day, but what about at night? Did she sleep in her bathtub?
Thus it is that Tifa finds herself having some difficulty bathing this evening... with one of the mermaid tails suddenly in the way. Somehow it's gotten stuck on and she can't get the thing off. Not actually wanting to spend the night in her bathtub, she calls up Rinoa to give her a hand.
The video clicks on as her friend arrives, the SFC recording from the edge of the sink, thankfully facing Tifa's back.]
Don't laugh.
Thus it is that Tifa finds herself having some difficulty bathing this evening... with one of the mermaid tails suddenly in the way. Somehow it's gotten stuck on and she can't get the thing off. Not actually wanting to spend the night in her bathtub, she calls up Rinoa to give her a hand.

Tifa pushes off of her as best she can.]
Well, that could've gone better.
Are you okay?
Action
Rinoa's much more concerned about the floor in her face - or her face in the floor. Groaning, she gingerly gets up once Tifa is off of her.]
Ow. Yeah, I've had worse happen. Sorry... about that. I forgot to mention I'm sort of clumsy. You okay?
[Oh, hey, there's blood coming out of her nose...]
Action
You sort of cushioned the fall.
[She eyes Rinoa in concern.]
You don't look okay. Let me see your nose.
Action
It's not broken, I don't think.
[But she removes her hand to let Tifa see. Honestly, it looks worse than it is. Just some blood that sort of got spread all over from the impact.]
Action
You're right. It's just bruised.
Action
[And now she's developing the classic "clogged nose" talk.]
I dun wanna go back to da clinic.
Action
[She nods towards the bathroom doorway, meanwhile shuffling herself across the floor towards the nearest towel rack.]
Action
[Attempt number two? Rinoa bends down to help Tifa up, if she accepts it.]
Action
[Tifa manages to snag a towel first and sling it around her shoulders. Then she accepts Rinoa's help up. Now that there's no tub in the way it's just awkward hopping from here.]
Let's see if we can manage without any more faceplants.
Action
[Her steps will try to match Tifa's hopping pace.]
Action
[She gestures with her free hand, and then hops that way while hanging onto Rinoa for support, pausing any time she feels they're a bit off-balance.]
Action
When they finally make it to the couch, she bends over to help Tifa sit down on it before she hurries over to the kitchen. She'll be back in a minute with an ice pack and a couple paper towels.]
Wad a pain.
Action
She gives Rinoa a wry smile when she returns.]
Sorry. Somehow I thought it'd be a lot easier.
Action
[She's glad Tifa is out of the tub, and she'll be peachy once her nose stops running and being clogged with blood.]
At least you're out. And it coulda been worde.
Action
[But she shrugs. No use pressing it if it's not a big deal.]
Action
[This isn't the first time she's had problems with it.]
I dink if anyone asks about id, I'm gonna lie. I don't dink you want everyone knowing you're a mermaid right now anyway.
Action
Mm, not really. A lie would probably be more convincing than the truth anyway. "I fell down helping a mermaid out of a bathtub..."
