Hello, Vatheon. I hope everyone is feeling a little more themselves after last week? I had meant to do this sooner, but circumstances prevented it. I would like to introduce you all to my ancestor, Zelda.

[With that, she zooms the camera out a bit to show another girl, practically identical to her other than the fact that she has bangs.]

Hello, Vatheon! It’s nice to meet you.

[ The girl waves energetically to the camera. She has only been in the bubble for a few weeks, but she already feels at home with her new friends. It was cute seeing everyone running around as babies, too! But, like her descendant, she’s glad everyone’s back to normal as well. ]

I apologize if this is too confusing. We’re still trying to get used to it ourselves!

[The princess' smile grows sheepish.]

It is a bit confusing since we share a name and an appearance. To help differentiate, I will be wearing my tiara again. If anyone is ever speaking to both of us at the same time, please refer to me by title - "princess" - so as to minimize any confusion. Hyrule did not yet have a royal family in Zelda's time, so we will easily be able to know who you are referring to that way.

[ The newer Zelda nods. At least she’s finally gotten to the point where she stops visibly swooning whenever “Hyrule” is mentioned. (Hey, it’s been her dream to live on the Surface for a long time, okay.) ]

Or you can call me “Sky”, as some have already dubbed me. It doesn’t matter to me either way. If there’s anything I can do to make this easier, please- don’t hesitate to ask.

[Swooning is a legitimate reaction to have over Hyrule, First Zelda.]

If there were any way to get control of the process I would certainly be in favor of it. The capricious nature of the transfers has been bothering me since October... I may not have been completely honest with myself regarding just how badly its been affecting me.

[And now I totally regret not having the time to keep playing a certain bald maniac who was totally all into the idea of taking control of this place and allowing people free travel to their homes, while maintaining this place as a safe haven for those who are better off...]

[Zelda's face softens. Losing someone is always hard, but it tends to be especially difficult for the trolls, knowing what sort of world their friends are returning to...]

If anybody can do it, it's you. To be honest, anytime I meet a new arrival that seems interested in figuring this place out I've been suggesting that they meet you.

[It's high praise, especially since Kanaya is just as practical as she is.]

Thank you. I do appreciate that. There is also a database people can submit information to now. I did not include that in the brochure since I am not sure how the locals would feel about that information being distributed, but if you would like I could show it to you.

I think I would like that. I've been here for nearly half a sweep and I never really cared about this sort of thing... but now I guess I have a reason to. If there's anything I can do to help out with the overall effort, let me know.

I can do that. I don't think I have anything interesting to contribute so far, unless you want a record of the island weather patterns. I've been keeping a journal for that. I was mostly trying to figure it out so I could start a garden up there.

I would like that very much, actually! The coral is a creature of this world, we should try to figure out what its seasons are like.

I helps quite a bit. Could you teach me how to submit data like that? I have rather a lot on the coral, but I am not sure how to input it all...

I could try? It took me a very long time to figure out how to do all that, but once the data is entered and formatted the program does the rest.

Perhaps it would be easier if I simply shared my notes with you, then. Please let me know if there is a convenient time we could meet up, at any rate.

I'm available any time if it's convenient for you to stop by my shop. Otherwise I just need a few moments to get ready to leave, and I can meet you wherever you'd like. I am the proprietor of my business, and there's no harm in me closing at a moment's notice. I'm not even supposed to be open during the day anyway.

[There certainly is a sort of double meaning there... too bad she missed it... initially. Once Zelda starts to blush Kanaya realizes what she said.]

[Generally Zelda doesn't pick up on that sort of thing, but it's hard to miss since she's still constantly reflecting on her own inappropriate behavior during that damned curse. She smiles and waves to the feed, then turns off her SFC and takes a few minutes to get her notes together before heading out. Since it's a shop and not someone's home, she simply walks in.]

Good afternoon, Princess. You have your data with you? I figured that if we wanted to do a similar graph it should be easy to just replace my data with yours and let the program make the chart.

[She takes out a folder. Either she never misses a day or she has people checking for her sometimes, because it seems pretty thorough.]

I really should try to learn to use a computer properly, but it seems so strange to me still.

I've never been very good with them, but I grew up with the technology. Sometimes though it's just a matter of finding the right button. There's one in here that makes a chart for you and all you have to do is type everything in order.

[She'll take the folder, opening up a spreadsheet program. Might as well get typing, Data Entry can take a while and she's not the fastest typist.]

Truly? I can type, at least!

[Don't mind Zelda, she'll be watching over Kanaya's shoulder with fascination. Is it really as easy as pressing a button?]

If you'd like. I'll just get things started. We put the date here on the left, and all the readings for that date on the same line. I can read the data to you if you'd like. It should be faster than trying to read and type.

[She sets up the spreadsheet, naming the columns and entering the first date to show how it's done. After that, she hands things over to Zelda.]

[Zelda is way too excited about this. She prefers to write things out by hand, but it's hard to distribute copies that way.]

[The princess settles down, then waits for Kanaya to start reading the numbers to her.]

[And she does. Slowly at first, and paying attention to what shows up on the screen... partially to look for errors, but also so she can start speeding up as they both get into the rhythm of the thing. After the first few dozen she stops.]

If you get tired or would just like a change, we can switch. Or take a break.

[While Zelda is a tad slow, it mostly seems to be because she checks for errors herself. She's a firm believer in doing something right the first time.]

Why don't we switch halfway? Ah, unless I am a bit too slow, then I suppose it would be faster to switch now.

Switching halfway seems perfectly equitable. I'm not really any fast than you are I think, and besides, we're nearly to that point as it is.

[Indeed, she only reads of a dozen or so more lines before stopping.]
