[Text] ♉ Summoner: Get your prongs a little dirty

[Because this isn't a horrible idea of anything considering who resides among his audience here but- he's just not one to wallow for too long and eventually evens out. Not that we won't fly away from the problem quickly or anything. Either way, he's in a good mood.]

[And she'll be there, as promised.]

[After meeting a few others he finally makes his way to the woods. he's been meaning to go this way anyway- needs to do upkeep on his tree house- so he can hit that up after he spends some time with The Dolorosa. It's been a short while here, but a long time for him, a good amount of sweeps since he's seen her.]

[So he's pretty excited, though hiding it well. Summoner's perched high on a tree in the woods, keeping eyes a lot of places, watching for the Dolorosa to show up. He's only been there a short while, but doesn't mind waiting.]

[When he catches sight of her though, he quickly unperches, moving down to the ground and heading through the woods to meet up with her, a smile on his face, horns their regular ridiculous length, wings folded behind him. Lysunder lifts a hand, waving before pocketing it as he nears.]

As beautiful as ever I see.

[She wasn't sure what to expect but she can't help but return that smile when she sees him approaching.

His compliment grants a demure, slightly amused smile accompanied by a light dusting of jade on her cheeks as she bows her head slightly in greeting.]

Oh, come, now.. You must say that to all the jadeblooded trolls that you meet in the woods.

[Lysunder's smile widens a little, stepping up to her and chuckling a little when he gets a look at that flush. Such a subtle, elegant mistress. Jade bloods and being being adorable while still ridiculously proper~]

Every single one. [As in, well, you, he's never met Kanaya out in the woulds before.] It is such a gorgeous hue, I gotta say.

You would not have been the first to say it. [That smile of hers turns a little mischievous.] But the first to utter it to me with such charm.

[This is turning out to be quite entertaining already.]

I'm really sorry- [Shrug.] It's a nasty habit, I uh, I hope you can find it in yourself to accept me for who I am. A charming angel of a troll~ [Charming devil? Well, considering angels are devils to trolls, the phrase may be different, eh.]

Oh, my dear, there are no apologies needed for such a harmless thing. [She laughs, clasping her hands together at the level of her stomach.]

Charm is something so sorely lacking in our species. To find an individual able to utilise it with such grace is refreshing.

You laughed, I'm off the hook! [Grins, and closes his eyes as he raises his hands innocently.]

Hm? [Puts down his hands.] Well, I uh, I have a lot of experience. [Laughs, rolling an arm and rubbing a shoulder.]

No where near as much these days, getting on, you know how it is?

[She chuckles again, a little more faintly, and gives a small nod.]

Yes.. I know how it is.

[The Dolorosa isn't sure how old she is any longer. After her little one's execution, she'd stopped counting the sweeps.]

We would seem to have some catching up to do, would you agree?

A great deal. But I've always been pretty fast. [A smug smile, stepping to her and offering an elbow.]

Think you can keep up?

[Another giggle. She takes his arm.]

I shall certainly try my best.

Now- [He starts to walk and despite what he said before, at a slow, comfortable pace.]

I'm uh- I'm going to go out on a wing here and say you've been here a little while now? Sorry I uh, I tend always have a lot going on...

It has been several weeks now, yes.

[She looks up at him as they walk, gaze flicking over his face with barely concealed curiosity. Lightly, she pats his arm with her free hand.]

I might have approached you sooner, but I was unsure of how to do so. Were it not for your descendent, I would not have known that you were here for some time.

[His eyes are on the woods ahead of them right now, trying to keep a calm attitude.]

Heh, I'm a flighty bastard, yeah. I can be hard to track down on foot. I think I am really glad you finally spoke to me though. [Flashes her a small smile.]

That reminds me, have you spoken to your descendant yet?

As am I.

[She returns the smile, then nods.]

Kanaya... Yes, I have. She is a wonderful young troll. We have spoken several times now. It is strange, the kind of connection I feel with her, despite how many sweeps there are between us.

Heh yeah I uh, feel about the same. Few people have said it here, that Tavros and I aren't much alike but- [His brows furrow, a small smile on his face.] I think I see more similarities everytime I'm with the kid.

[Her fingers close around his arm and squeeze softly.]

He favours you, I think. I said as much when I saw him. He was very pleased with the comparison.

He's down on himself a lot I think, but, I was too around his age, the nymphs here are still pretty young after all.

You? Truly? [She doesn't sound like she believes him, but she might be teasing.]

I cannot picture such a thing.

Oh yeah me! I know, it's really hard to believe with the troll you see before you now. [A coy smile, leaning in a little and tightening his arm.]

As charming, and dashing, and confident as I am. But hell, I even uh, heh, used to have a pretty stubborn stutter.

[He knows she's joking but- it's nice. It's lighter than a majority of his conversations seem to be lately...]

[She chuckles, gently bumping her shoulder against his. It's so pleasant to find such easy conversation with someone who had been almost a stranger before.]

Some might find such a thing endearing.

[Her nose wrinkles as she smiles.]

I am sure that Tavros will gain much from spending time with you.

[Well, he has that ability. He's had to gain the respect and companionship of many troll and beast alike back home.]

Endearing? I- guess. It's always cute on other people. [Smiles.] Like Sparky's lisp. May not talk to him much anymore, but when I did was his voice cute.

You think? I hope so- The kid needs good role models, all of them do in some respect.

[She nods solemnly, thinking of Kanaya for a moment, but they quickly shift elsewhere.]

Speaking of which.. The Grand Highblood.. does he have much association with the youngster named Gamzee Makara?

[Not that he seems the type to take an interest in one so relatively harmless as Gamzee, but one never knew.. She wouldn't trust any troll around him, even one of his own caste.]

Ahh, an association yeah, but the kid hardly wants to see the guy let alone live up to any type of relationship we've been doing with our descendants. [A small sigh.] Like Tavros is to myself, and Kanaya to you, Gamzee's the same to him. I can believe it in appearance, but taking sopor like he has for so long, it's changed the kid. Not like any indigo I know.

[And he's not sure if it's for better or worse but- Gamzee wants to, and he's aware of what it does for the most part. So it's all right, right? Still doesn't feel right though.]

[She nods once. As sad as it was to think of given the relationships that she and Summoner had with their own descendants, she wouldn't like to have to deal with two trolls like the Grand Highblood. Just one is enough.

Sopor, though.. surely there had to be a better way to control his impulses.]

He is.. unusual. Friendly. Not what I would expect of an indigo. Though I would not say that he does not bear watching.
