this might sound silly but could i have a hug?

[ She's not really directing this at anybody in particular. She just found out parts of her family are no longer here and she's ... not handling it too well. She'll take a hug from anyone willing to give one. ]

[ just as she suggested, Kohaku is now waiting in the plaza. ]

[timebender]

[ Aradia arrives shortly thereafter, approaching tentatively. ]

Were you the one looking for a hug...?

[spiria]

[ She looks up and nods a couple of times, quietly. ]

[timebender]

[ Then without saying anything further, Aradia pulls her into a tight hug. ]

[spiria]

[ Oh. Well. That's what she asked for, all right ... she just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly. After she gets over her shock, though, she returns the hug tightly. ]

You're welcome. Do you feel any better now?

A little.

[ Not a lot, but the hug did help. ]

Good! Is there anything else I can do to help?

[spiria]

[ She fidgets a little. This kind stranger had come to give her a hug when she needed it, she couldn't possibly ask for anything more than that ...

... but the hug made her realize just how much she didn't want to be alone right now. ]

Would it be too much to ask for a distraction? I don't know, just like ... maybe a conversation or something.

Sure.

[ She pauses for a second, then sizes up the other girl, and gets an idea. ]

Or I could take you flying!

Flying?

[ She's done the flying thing before, but it's been a long time.

... And she doesn't do heights very well. ]

A-Ah, I think maybe we should skip the flying ... sorry.

[ There's a sheepish, apologetic smile here. ]
