Happy New Year, everyone!~

*Selphie's room, in the background, may seem a little less decorated than it was before Christmas, but all those fairy lights are still there. She's wrapped up cosy in a blanket on her bed, a bunch of random books at her side*

So, it's a new year, and my resolution is to learn something new! You're a talented bunch, Vatheon, I know it - so whatcha gonna teach me?

Yeah, I kinda figured. I just got back. City decided to spit me out back home then toss me out again.

Hey, you seem like you got an idea on this. What's the big deal about the New Year celebration?

Really? What was it like going home? Did everyone know you were gone? What happened?

*Because going away and coming back fascinated her*

Well.. it's a new year, and people like to celebrate that, cause it's like... starting fresh!

[ There's a huff while he settles against the tree he was leaning against. Sorry, Selphie. You're the only other person he knows so he's gotta ask.

He seems to sink into his scarf a bit though. ]

So... what's with a kiss on New Year?

*Selphie blinks and shakes her head a little*

I guess it would be romantic to have someone to kiss when it turned to a new year...

...but I didn't get one...

It's not like its got any meaning to it, right? It's just a stupid kiss.

You humans have weird New Year traditions.

Mm...No. I think it does. I think it's an important kiss. Because it's the first one of the year... It's definitely supposed to mean something.

*Have a half-shrug of slight disappoint as she wriggles a little beneath her blanket*

So... I just didn't get one because I guess I don't mean enough to anyone for them to want to give me a kiss that means something..

*At least, she really hopes that she'd get one little meaningless kiss from someone..*

[ There's a little color to his cheeks though as he manages to scrunch down into his scarf a little more. ]

What's it mean then? Unless it's the kind of kiss where someone's just messing with ya, right?

[Yukari laughs a little, taking note of the adorable fairy lights in the background. Maybe if you tell her, she'll tell you want she wants. c:]

*Oh, really, talking about kisses. Selphie's reaction is pretty much the same, but she does peer at him curiously*

Well...there's so much stuff~ Like maybe.. I could learn a new language, or I could learn to sew, or I could learn to cook a good meal.. Or... all kindsa cool stuff!

N... no way! Kissing's stupid. Just... kinda crossed my mind! Someone was making a big deal about getting a kiss on New Year's eve.

*And now Selphie's that little bit redder too*

Kissing...kissing isn't stupid! It's lovely and romantic and.. and if someone kissed me at the new year then... I would have thought it was lovely...
