Video - A very offended monster
[When the feed opens, the Gromble is all smiles and sweetness. Even his voice is cloying, a stark contrast to his hideous appearance.]
Oh hello Vatheon. I must say, I've been oh so pleasantly surprised with how friendly the humans here are. Of course...
[Suddenly the sweet tone of voice is gone, replaced by something low and dangerous.]
It was clearly an act to put monsters off guard.
[He perks up again, tittering.]
Now I know you might not all be aware of this, so I'm going to give you a little lesson in monster history. Thousands of years ago, monsters were born from human imagination. Back then the human imagination was quite a powerful thing, you know. We hardly had to do any work at all. Unfortunately, humans now have become obsessed with science and refuse to openly believe in anything they don't understand. We monsters scare the humans to fuel their imagination, which in turn allows us to continue existing. A properly educated monster will only scare humans, they will not harm them. So!
I would like you all to bring any wayward monsters to me. Do not slaughter them and take their parts for jewelry or potion ingredients or points or for whatever other "loot" they might have. This questing behavior is really quite appalling, and you wouldn't want to harm a frightened creature who doesn't know any better...
WOULD YOU?!
Tata~

[ Tiny smile. ]
Have you heard of something called an RPG?
no subject
[Though it does sound a little familiar. What was that human game? Dungeons and drudges? No, that's not it.]
What is an RPG?
no subject
[ Pressing his fingertips together. ]
Humans banding together doing a series of quests which at times involve battling both monsters and demons alike. It's quite a common form of entertainment, really.

[It's still kind of sick that they want to pretend to be heroes killing monsters and demons, but it's better than actual monsters being killed.]

[ Glancing out the window now. ]
I've been here for at least half a year and this is the first time I've seen an actual game brought to life so... vividly. I must say. I find this far more fascinating than I thought it would be.

[He lets out a high pitched giggle.]
I do hope some of them are at least a little afraid?
no subject
[ Smirking back over his tea. ]
I suppose that counts as fear, in a way?
no subject
[He wants to see some humans quaking in their boots! It's best for everyone if they don't die, but a good show after all this mental distress would be appreciated greatly.]

[ Smirking back because really. He wants a show. ]
It would be breaking tradition otherwise.
