[It's around sunset when the video starts. There's the sound of the ocean and the wind in the background, but shortly after the sound of glass thumping hard against a table interrupts. With how the screen shakes slightly, it might be apparent that the communicator has been placed on said table.

What follows are a few grumbles and a view of Axel on the side as he folds his arms and rests his head on them.]

So, you know what I just found out a couple minutes ago?

[Wait a sec. He turns away for a second to sneeze. And it's a pretty adorable sneeze too.]

Heh. Someone must be talking about me. But, no, that's not what I found out. What I found out is that this stuff-

[Axel reaches around the SFC and picks up a nearly finished bottle of beer. Yeah, it's just one and he's already pretty pink in the face. So what? Mind your own damn business.]

-this stuff is ridiculous. Who comes up with these things anyway? I mean, why would you ever think about it? What's even the point?

[Resting his chin on his hand in thought, Axel slumps, stares at the bottle, then shrugs. Maybe he shouldn't think too much about it. It tasted ok and it feels warm, so those are two Very Good Things for Axel's.]

Well, I guess it's a nice way to pass the time while the stupid dome implodes on itself, right?

[If it's Axel starting things then he's comfortable with it, so it's okay, right? He is acting a little weird, but he's still mostly making sense...]

[Leaning is totally okay. Unless it makes them fall over, which it's threatening to at this point. Roxas puts a hand down for extra support.]

I'd need to have another beer for that.

[Speaking of which, he looks up and over to the table where there's actually another bottle waiting for him.]

I'm considering it.

Wouldn't you- get a hangover?

[That's what happens when you drink, right?]

I might. But maybe I won't.

[He laughs a little.]

It's just fun, man.

[And here he goes, trying to reaaaaach over for that other bottle. Sorry if he kind of leans on you a little more in doing so, Roxas.]

Hang on. I got it.

[What, no-- balance, Axel, balance! For a second it seems like they might be okay, but just as Axel's almost grabbed the bottle, it's too much and Roxas topples backwards beneath him.]

Axel!

[Annnnnd down he goes, flopping on top of Roxas with his face on his chest. Oh. This is kind of comfortable, actually. Much more comfortable than a couple of seconds ago, that's for damn sure.]

Hmm... oops.

[He doesn't sound too sorry about that. Or rather, his mind hasn't quite caught up with what's happened for him to be sorry.]

[Now that you're up close and personal, it's not such a scrawny chest after all, is it?]

H-hey. You're not supposed to be getting comfortable there.

[...not really complaining though. And it's better than him going for the beer again, right?]

[Mrnnnn. He'll just stay here for a bit.]

Comfortable where?

Well- ...you're not that heavy.

[He shifts a little and settles an arm back around his friend.]

What about sleeping now?

[This really is quite comfortable. Axel doesn't say anything for a while, but then as he shuts his eyes he mutters quietly,]

Maybe.

[Roxas doesn't say anything at all. He turns his head to look out at the horizon; the sun set a while ago, but the color hasn't gone from the sky. It'll be dark soon... This isn't exactly how he pictured camping out on the island.

Things aren't exactly okay still, but they're getting there, right? Just let Axel do whatever he feels comfortable with, and maybe it'll be enough. As long as they can still be close, it's enough. It's got to be enough.]
