[video] Selphie is Sad, but we're off hiatus!

*When Selphie woke up and she was able to leave her bed, she looked around the house for Rinoa. She wasn't upstairs, or downstairs. That wasn't so unusual. Selphie thought she'd use the SFC to see if Rinoa could bring back those burgers she got the last time Selphie was in a coma. But Rinoa's name wasn't on the list. Selphie knows too well what that means.

On the screen, Selphie is still wearing her little yellow pyjamas, curled up on the sofa in the living room she used to share with Rinoa. She blinks, rather forlornly, at the SFC*

I don't know when it happened but...Rinoa's gone home. For all her friends here...I thought I'd let you know that I'm from Rinny's homeworld too, but I'm from a place more in the future than from where she was here from. So, I can promise everyone that even though some crazy stuff might happen, Rinoa ends up perfectly safe and really happy, with friends and people who love her.

*Selphie manages a small, weak smile, then promptly switches off her SFC*

*Selphie smiles and puts down the glass, despite feeling somewhat guilty about being in a coma. She steps over and wraps her arms around him a tight hug*

You gotta learn to relax, mister.

This is probably the most relaxed I've been in years, actually. [Mostly thanks to her.]

*Selphie looks up at him then, clearly very amused at this statement*

Really? Then you'd better learn to start taking breaks at the shop. Who's gonna remind you when I'm not there?

*She's teasing, though now she thinks about it, it is a concern*

...you mean you're not going to recruit Shiemi for that? [He could have sworn Selphie was going to do that.]

I think I'm going to have to! At least I know she will take care of you.

*Selphie smiles and pats him lightly on the chest*

But at least I know you have a cute new housemate who'll look after you when you get home!

Why not just stick with the second plan? [It sounds a lot better!] It'll give me something to work towards. [Isn't that a good reason?]

Alright! Sounds like a challenge! Guess I better get some cooking lessons or something..

*Because if she's going to be a house wife she'd better do it right!*

Well, that's good! Cause otherwise we'd probably end up just eating pizza and cake forever!

*She gives him another squeeze before stepping away and glancing around, then towards the stairs*

Well.. I guess I should make a start on packing!
