[Saix really doesn't want to admit it, because that would make Axel right, but it's simply fact that he realizes once he's back in his own body instead of stuck in Axel's. It reminded him of what it felt like to be Isa a little bit, and it also reminded him of how it had felt when he had first joined the Organization. How he is now is... different. It's the Darkness. It feels thicker, like a heavy fog. He knows he's done some horrible things in the name of his goal, but never cared because the end justified the means. Still, this almost feels like too much.]

[Saix spends the day trying to convince himself that he's just letting himself fall into the same delusional trap that Axel has, but in the end, he has to know.]

[So you'll be seeing this guy on the SFC today, looking as calm and apathetic as ever.]

I'm curious, but are there any in Vatheon who are knowledgeable in the spiritual heart of a person? Perhaps the better, more general word would be 'soul'.

[A body, a mind, and a 'heart'- that's what makes a person, isn't it? But take away the 'heart', have it be lost to Heartless, and you're left with a body and a mind. A Nobody...]

In my line of work it's necessary.

[ Except in the one case where it's mattered most, but then those emotions were not really faked so much as badly interpreted. ]

[ Barry had to admit he'd hadn't had as much fun here as he had back home, but perhaps one day that would fix itself. ]

[Being actually able to enjoy things like setting your enemy's entire wardrobe on fire and have smores is actually easier to do when you can feel positive emotion, it turns out.]

Ah, the heart thing again.

Surely there has to be some way for you to relax even without it.

[ There had to be pleasure in some things didn't there? ]

Dogs. Stargazing. Sending my former coworkers on difficult missions so that they could stop bothering me and potentially never bother me again. [The idea was nice to entertain even if most of the Organization managed to be relatively competent, sometimes.]

[ Barry laughed at the last one. ]

That would have unfortunate consequences.

[Placing the teacup down, he adjusts some of his hair. So, relaxed and think about the last time he was anything regarding happy... Talking about a few things has given him something of an idea.]

[ The smile on Barry's face was geniune then. He was very pleased by this progress. ]

[The smile falls away easily enough, and Saix brushes some of his hair back.]

It feels strange to do that after so long...

I can imagine, but it looked natural, and that's what counts.

[ Barry was still smiling. He was glad to have a student that learned so quickly. ]

I suppose I'll have to keep practicing, then. [At least so it doesn't feel so strange.] Have you thought of something for me to do then, yet?

[ Barry put his hand to his mouth as he thought. It couldn't be anything too big, teaching someone to smile was such a small triviality. ]

[ Barry lowered his hand, a smile on his face. ]

[He doesn't see the point, but, if that's what he wants..]

[ Barry tapped his lips. ]

[ Barry wouldn't expect Saix to get the point, but he was an incubus and this was what he lived for. ]

Alright, then. [He starts to get up, straightening his coat.] Does it matter how rough I am?

[He's not sure if he can do gentle without it coming off as extremely awkward..]

No. [ Barry's voice was low purr. ]

I prefer it that way.

[Excellent. That means less worry for him, then. He walks around the small table to the couch, slipping down into the space besides Barry. There's not any time wasted- no teasing or foreplay. He simply slips his hand to the back of Barry's neck, fingers tangling in those pale locks.]

[The way Saix kisses shows most of his personality in it. There's no gentle pleasantry, just the rough feel of lips against lips and his own sharp teeth occasionally against them with no regards for if they hurt or not. There's no particular grace to it, but like this, maybe there doesn't need to be.]
