[So, after Trunks' fairly disasterous (for him anyway) first day in Vatheon, he's been laying low and trying to figure out all these confusing ~feelings~ he has. It's not working. So he's decided to ask the network at large. ~~Unfortunately for him, he hasn't experimented enough to figure out filtering yet.~~]

Hello. Pardon the interruption, but I have...well, a question. I don't expect an answer from everyone, so don't worry about it, but...

When I arrived here, I met someone who is very important to me, from my world. I can't exactly say so, though, and even if I did, they'd never believe me. To say we're from different times is...putting it mildly.

And I might have seriously pissed them off. ~~This is all so complicated.~~

[...this is going to sound ridiculous to anyone who isn't a Saiyan, who doesn't know what they're capable of. It's something that he hesitates before even sending back. Admitting to it would be admitting to the fact that he's different, that he's so strong. He's so used to hiding that it goes against pretty much everything his mind's telling him to do.

This story even sounds a bit familiar; she's reminded of when Minato told her, about the one time Aniki had tried to make him push him into the lake.

Vatheon isn't exactly the best place for big drawn-out fights. so for what it's worth, it sounds like you made the right decision.

Is he seriously mad? why does he wanna fight you so badly?

[It's the fact that he's from the future as well--he doesn't want anyone to know how strong he is. Not really.]

Yeah, I figured. There's too many people around, for one.

It's a way for him to get stronger, and I understand that. If the situation was right, I'd probably go along with it. Hell, if it was just a spar he wanted, I'd do it.

[Right. Too many people being around was exactly what she was getting at, pretty much. Plus the enclosed space...even on the island, there'd be a lot of damage.]

Seems kind of lame for him to use you just to get stronger. But what does he want from you then, if not just a friendly spar?

[Yeah and Vegeta already kinda trashed it. At least they could potentially fight in midair...]

Yeah, well, I can't blame him for it.

[...or to the near-death. But it was the nonchalance about possibly dying that cinched it for Trunks. He couldn't do that.]

...yeah. He doesn't know it, though. I can't exactly tell him either. I shouldn't even be talking about this.

[If he shouldn't even be talking about it, it's a wonder he hasn't this filtered this away from whoever it is. But then, she supposes that fits with the fact that he's newer...it took her a while to figure out the SFC, too.]

Even if he won't believe you, it might be worth a try, y'know. it's not like you guys are going anywhere any time soon...maybe it'll give him some time to think on it and chill out.

Somewhere inside you might be important to him, too.

[Yep, he's clueless. His world hasn't quite advanced beyond videophones yet, which is surprising, considering the flying cars and capsules and friggin spaceships and time machines. Even then, Trunks really has never had the opportunity or reason to use them.]

...maybe. It's probably the only choice I've got.

[Aside from punching Vegeta's lights out every time he threatens Vatheon to get Trunks to fight him.]

[And unfortunately, Yukari knows what that's like, too. She lets a sigh as she is typing the message...wondering what else to type, since just saying that seems...well.

but that doesn't mean you're the only one who's been through something like this. No one's alone here even when they wanna be [—haha, that's a laugh—] so...try to relax.

[Eh, Trunks is used to life sucking. It seems to be a constant state of being for him after all.]

It's hard to be alone in such a contained city. It's the same back home, lots of people close together in a contained space.

[Underground is seriously even worse than underwater, man.]

[He seems to understand pretty well, then. Maybe even better than her, in a way; though she was trapped in a confined space, too, when the coral brought her here.]

That doesn't sound too pleasant. But I guess at the very least you'll be able to adjust.
