These curses, huh? Vatheon's usually pretty safe except for those things and there isn't much we can do about that, huh? I know, I know - it's inconvenient but it's all part of living in this here bubble.

My friend, Ken, was spearheading- [He pauses as he says the word, smile breaking across his expression.] Heh... [He shakes his head, smile still present as he speaks] Ken was in charge of this project but it looks like it's fizzled out after he left. So I'm going to take up the gauntlet and pick up where he's left off.

Is anyone interested in learning how to fight? Like I said, curses seem to be our main threat here but you never know when you might need to defend yourself. I'm a boxer, so I can teach you anything you need to know about some basic hand to hand fighting or just be someone to spar with if you already have the small stuff down.

Anyone have any other skills? Spearfighting, archery? Swordsmanship? Maybe we can coordinate a whole training committee, for anyone looking to learn how to protect themselves? What do you guys thinks?

I'm afraid I'm not terribly skilled at it, but I was trained in swordsmanship by royal guards from a very young age.

Everyone has their talents and skills, we were all beginners once. Even if all you have is the basics, you could at least show others the ropes.

Any kind of swordplay is good in my books. There's bound to be someone who wants to learn that style - it'd give you a chance to hone your own skills too.

If you're looking for self-defense fighting, kung fu is the thing to teach! Not to mention it's fun, too.

I've been self training myself in it for a couple years now, but I'd be all up for introducing more people to it! Means more training partners, too.

We can only improve by pushing our limits. If you're willing to teach, I'm sure there's plenty who'd want to learn the basics.

While I generally carry an EvronGun for protection, I am also skilled in the use of blades, particularly axes. However... the only blade that followed me here is an ancient dagger, a unique piece belonging to the invincible warrior and inspired poet Zartas. I would rather not use that one in combat.

Granted, I also know how to build rudimentary weapons from raw materials.

You sure know a lot... If you're willing to share your skill, we'd really benefit from having someone like you around.

I'm most experienced with using a scythe, but he didn't follow me here so I don't think I'll be very helpful with that.

A scythe? [He blinks a bit - she doesn't look like a grim reaper or anything like that... He's quick to shake that thought from his head, that's silly. A Junpei-level of silly.]

I've never met anyone who uses a scythe before... Is it anything like using a spear?

I have one student, though I would not be adverse to take another to teach how to properly use a katana. I have considered the idea since Minato-dono had started the Defense Force. Coordinating a committee would be wise, especially if another invasion surprises us.

Minato's a good friend of mine. I figured something like this would help out the Defense Force a lot - this place is constantly growing, part of protecting others is teaching them to protect themselves.

Not everyone can use a Persona like we can, but that doesn't mean they can't learn how to fight like us.

Persona or not, people have a right to keep themselves safe. The Defense Force is great but as Vatheon keeps growing, it'll get harder and harder to protect all of these people. The best way to protect someone is to teach them how to protect themselves.

I'm not really a weapons fighter - I have a sword but I'm not very good at it yet. I'm also not really the greatest at hand to hand...
