[ The AUDIO somehow gets clicked on first as various kinds of noises can be heard in the background-- people talking about who knows what, all muffled for some reason or another but there's one voice that cuts through clearly. ]

.. Huh? I thought I gave this back.

[ To some it might sound familiar to another person's voice, but there's obvious confusion in his tone. What's he's referencing to, well.

There's a few more seconds before the VIDEO clicks on this time, showing nothing but a blur of where the device is at the moment. One second there's the street and then the next is what looks like a group of people before it gets shifted to something else again until it finally settles on a blond boy with blue eyes. Obviously someone doesn't know that it's actually a means of communication instead of what he actually thinks the thing is.

He's frowning but it doesn't last long as he looks off in some other direction, determination set on his face. ]

I'll just bring it back later. Right now I gotta get out of here.

[ A pause as he actually thinks about what he just said while looking around. ]

How did I even get here?

[ Because he's pretty darn sure that he'd been intending to go somewhere else. Not this world... whichever world it is. Well, there are people here so it shouldn't hurt to ask, right? ]

[...Ven, this is the worst timing. Vanitas has been all kinds of trouble lately, and you're wandering around probably in the plaza where he could come back from the dead any minute.

But Roxas remembers how Ven reacted to seeing him the last time, so he's going to be cautious and try text first. He doesn't know how to do that anonymous thing but with Ven's technical skills hopefully it won't matter.]

You didn't get here like other worlds.

[ Okay, so he might've attempted to do the text thing, but he mostly just turns it around to see how to even do that feature so in the end, he'll just stick to the one that it's already on. Considering he thought it to be just a gummi well. He'll learn eventually.

But that's the last thing on his mind as he reads the text and wonders about who it is. Because he gets the feeling that this person actually knows about other words. The way the message had been worded-- even he can tell that it's a little odd for someone to say it in that sort of way.

So there's no looks of confusion or anything remotely to surprise on his face, just questioning. ]

So then how did I get here?

You see the big coral? They say it pulls people here.

It does? But how does it manage to do that?

[ Though while he knows that objects can send people off somewhere (aka the star shard that he thought he'd been holding), it's a little weird to know that there's something that big able to do it. And with so many people at that. ]

Don't really know. More importantly, I'm not sure its safe for you to hang around there.

[ Now that gets his attention. ]

Why not? It seems safe enough and the people have been friendly.

[...should he just come right out and say it? That'd probably be clearest, even if he hates to be giving news like this.]

Vanitas might show up.

[ And that makes him straighten up. He already knows that Vanitas seems to be here and had heard about what happened. The chance that he'll show up here is something he knows and will prepare himself for. But once Vanitas hears that he's here, there's no one place that will be completely safe. ]

Sounds like you know about him too. [ Makes him wonder just how many. ]

You don't remember but you're the one who told me.

I did? [ All the confusion now. ]

Maybe you could start from the beginning? When did I tell you when I just got here.

You've been here before. But people usually don't remember this place once they leave.

[ He takes a second to wonder how but then the next message captures his attention again-- ]

[ And he cuts himself off there as he recalls the few other people who have called him that and remembering just why they did. ]

Hey, wait. So you're the one!

The one everyone says that I look like! They kept thinking I was you until I told them I wasn't.

[Well, if he's already heard... Roxas cautiously switches to video.]

It was the other way around when I first got here, so... only fair, I guess.

[ Ventus takes a moment to look at Roxas, finally seeing what everyone means about them looking alike. They... really do look the same. It's no wonder people got them confused. ]

...Wow. I wasn't sure how similar we looked but. It's almost like looking into a mirror.

Yeah. ...kinda weird, huh?

[ Ventus chuckles weakly. ]

Just a little bit. But how is this even possible?

[Yeah, much better reaction than last time.]

Sora? [ Now there's a new name. ]

Who's that?

[...he doesn't know Sora? Is he from a different time?]

You- said he was four when you met. Brown spikey hair, blue eyes? On the islands.

I was just on the islands but I never met anyone like that.

[ If this is another one of those time travel things, his might explode from all the information. ]

[Roxas doesn't know the details. If Sora doesn't really remember it, he certainly doesn't.]

A-anyway... Your hearts are connected. And... I'm connected to Sora.

[ He's pretty sure that he only met Vanitas at the islands before leaving himself. ]

Connected? [ Something seems a little odd about that, though what he's not entirely sure. Maybe it's the fact that he's connected to someone he hasn't even met before or even the circumstances for the connection. ]

Okay, so. How are you connected to Sora then?
