[ The AUDIO somehow gets clicked on first as various kinds of noises can be heard in the background-- people talking about who knows what, all muffled for some reason or another but there's one voice that cuts through clearly. ]

.. Huh? I thought I gave this back.

[ To some it might sound familiar to another person's voice, but there's obvious confusion in his tone. What's he's referencing to, well.

There's a few more seconds before the VIDEO clicks on this time, showing nothing but a blur of where the device is at the moment. One second there's the street and then the next is what looks like a group of people before it gets shifted to something else again until it finally settles on a blond boy with blue eyes. Obviously someone doesn't know that it's actually a means of communication instead of what he actually thinks the thing is.

He's frowning but it doesn't last long as he looks off in some other direction, determination set on his face. ]

I'll just bring it back later. Right now I gotta get out of here.

[ A pause as he actually thinks about what he just said while looking around. ]

How did I even get here?

[ Because he's pretty darn sure that he'd been intending to go somewhere else. Not this world... whichever world it is. Well, there are people here so it shouldn't hurt to ask, right? ]

[ If this is another one of those time travel things, his might explode from all the information. ]

[Roxas doesn't know the details. If Sora doesn't really remember it, he certainly doesn't.]

A-anyway... Your hearts are connected. And... I'm connected to Sora.

[ He's pretty sure that he only met Vanitas at the islands before leaving himself. ]

Connected? [ Something seems a little odd about that, though what he's not entirely sure. Maybe it's the fact that he's connected to someone he hasn't even met before or even the circumstances for the connection. ]

Okay, so. How are you connected to Sora then?

Maybe you'll understand if you meet him. He's here.

[Roxas hesitates at that question. He doesn't really like talking about this, admitting that he's not a whole person. But he knows about Ven and his other, so...]

I'm... a part of him. But it's not like you and Vanitas. I'm not- like that.

[ Ventus makes note to ask for this Sora person since he seems like an important person if he has a connection to him. But now, he pays attention to what Roxas said, eyes widening at what the blond says. Like him and Vanitas... only not exactly? ]

You're not like him but you're half of someone though?

[ It all sounds rather confusing like that. ]

In what way are you different to him, then?

[Maybe it's just the way Ven put that, but it makes him a little defensive.]

I'm me now.

And I don't want to hurt anyone.

[ And being the kind of person he is, Ventus picks up on it easily. ]

..Sorry, I didn't mean it anything bad about it.

[ Because for a time, he knows what it's like to be half a person too. Having his heart shattered by the man he had called master once. ]

Yeah. That's what I meant when I asked how different you two are.

[ Because wants to know and to not jump to an conclusions now that he's learned all that he has. He doesn't think Roxas is a bad person but. Considering everything, he just wants that confirmation. ]

Sora lost his heart once. He got it back, but- I'm what was left behind, then. His empty shell.

[ None of what Roxas is saying makes a lot of sense to him, mostly because he's never really heard of that happening to anybody. Then again, didn't his own heart break from when the darkness was taken out of him? But it's not the same that happened between this Sora person and Roxas. ]

Exactly. I mean, I've only just met you but I can tell that talking about this makes you feel uncomfortable.

[ And he kind of hates himself for doing that to Roxas but he just had to know, so maybe there's a way he could cheer the other up somehow. ]

[Well, he thought so before, too, but it's still nice to hear.]

Don't need to thank me for something that's true.

[ Although he might not understand the whole thing, he'll still believe Roxas to be his own self, regardless of what others tell him. He's still trying to connect the pieces of why they look alike, but maybe that's just something he'll have to meet with Sora about. Maybe once he does, he'll understand. ]
