[The face showing up on the screen has got to be familiar to a lot of people by now, what with two other versions of it running about. In fact, since Roxas is wearing a generic black shirt instead of his Organization coat, it would be easy to mistake him for Ventus. A frowning Ventus. He has a look of concentration, or possibly annoyance.

He's trying to do something with the communicator, but clearly he doesn't realize it's already recording.]

I thought she said there was a list of people... Stupid thing.

Eh? Me neither but I still managed to work it. It's easy if you know how to work a smartphone, to be honest. [Everyone has smartphones, right? Even weirdoes from other dimensions?]

You- okay, so you're probably from a technologically dumb dimension place thingy. It's a communication device like this one, except it's not all...organically creepy by being embedded in a starfish.

It's not dumb. It's just if you wanna talk to somebody, you go talk to them.

[Well. They might have normal phones in Twilight Town but since he never actually lived there he wouldn't know.]

Well yeah, but, what if that person was all the way across town, or, all the way across the world. You can't just 'go and talk to them' without hassle, right?

If they lived all the way across the world, how would you know them?

[kivaember]

Well, like, if they moved there, or if they're internet friends. Like, I have internet friends all over my world, in every single country! [Well, the countries themselves were his friends...and maybe friends could only be used to label some, like...three...]

What are internet friends?

[Gilbert's brain has exploded. How....who...but, the internet was...who didn't know it?!]

They're...friends on...the internet?

[You seriously thought he would know the internet from how he's been talking?]

That... doesn't really explain anything.

Uh... [how to explain the internet] The internet's like, this...great, big, network between computers. And, it has everything, like, forums to talk to people all the way across the world, and, and information about everything, as well as pictures and videos and...stuff.

[coolerthansora]

So it's like... being able to call people with computers?

[At least he knows what a computer is. Even if he smashed up the only one he ever saw.]

[Gilbert was relieved that this person wasn't completely in the stone age] Yes! Exactly that! It's a great invention, because you get to have friends everywhere.

Without even meeting them?

[kivaember]

Yup. Well, without meeting them physically. Pretty impressive, huh?

Well, that's just coz you haven't witnessed the awesomeness that is the internet first hand. [Pouts a little. Before coming here the internet was his livelihood, his escape from the embarrassment his life had become. From one of the greatest military powers in the world to an obsolete nation lurking in his brother's basement]

But I think I'd rather know people for real.

...well, just a case of personal preference, I guess.

Oh, bit of a brain fart on my part, huh? Ahah..haha...er, ahem. I'm Gilbert, Gilbert Weillschmidt. Or you can call me Prussia. Not really picky, both names are awesome.
