Day 65 - [Video]

[Although the feed starts off in audio-only for a couple seconds before he decides he's up for video, Roxas doesn't look any different.]

Hey, Axel, Xion.. Hayner... Well, everybody...

I know some people are freaking out, but I hope you guys aren't so bad off. 'cause, um, I kind of want your help figuring some stuff out.

((Powers? What powers? 100% vanilla human... complete with heart.))

[It will be the most boyish thing ever. All the neighborhood kids will be jealous.]

Oh, please; don't gimme that when I've been sleeping for the past week or so.

[But they won't know the secret password so tough luck.]

I meant I won't let you.

[Not that he.. really knows how to do that if it's a sleep coma. Maybe if he jumps on your bed?]

So, what, you'll be my personal alarm clock now?

Sure. Something like that.

Good. Then I'll have to whap you upside the head to get you to stop.

Hey! You don't wanna have to tell people you got beat up by your alarm clock, do you?

No. I'll just tell them I got beat up by you. [Then he'll get sympathy!]

And I'll just have to tell them you started it.

And then they just won't believe anyone's story at that point, because they'll think we're being childish.

...I guess we kind of would be.

Exactly. [He shakes his head.] So let's just not hit each other in the first place, then. How's that sound?

I dunno... No one really needs to know if we're acting like kids, right?

[That glance towards the couch is him judging the distance to the pillows.]

[...Sees you looking off at something and raises a brow.] I guess not, huh.

[Head tilt]

[action]

[A grin spreads across his face as he goes for it-- hurling one pillow at Axel before snagging up another. He is of course trying to hit Axel with the first one, but you might as well grab it because it's no fun pillow-fighting against an unarmed opponent.]

[What the hell, really.

Axel turns to see Roxas going for the pillows and in spite of himself he grins. With or without a heart Roxas is still super playful.

He looks up just as the pillow smacks him in the middle and while Roxas grabs the other he takes the first and runs up to smack him back.]

You little punk.

[action]

[Roxas lets out a mock cry of dismay as the pillow whaps him in the shoulder and proceeds to hit him right back.]

Think this'll be enough to wake you up?

[Come on, you know you want morning pillow fights on your bed.]

[action]

[Axel's hit! He swings for a counterstrike!]

If you try this while I'm asleep, you can kiss us rooming together goodbye.

[action]

[And the pillows clash! ...not that clash is really the right word when it comes to pillows.]

What? Oh, come on! It wouldn't be all the time.

[action]

[flared]

Shut up; it'll happen a lot anyway and you know it.

[CLASHING PILLOWS. Or something like that. He dashes off to the side, though, to try and dodge.]

Okay, okay-- I'll only try it if it's one of those comas.

[Or special occasions maybe. Roxas gives chase, although Axel definitely has the height advantage in this fight. It's harder for Roxas to reach his face with the unwieldy pillow.]

[Axel runs and dodges as best he can and thankfully he really is tall enough to avoid being bonked in the head. And Roxas is just short enough for him to aim for his head instead. So there.]

You're so thoughtful.

[Roxas is not trying terribly hard to avoid being hit; the best defense is a good offense, and besides it's only a pillow. It is a little frustrating he can't return those bonks on the head, though, so when he gets the chance he runs back to the sofa and scrambles up onto the arm for the high ground.]

[Oh, man, going for higher ground now, are you? Axel follows Roxas over to the sofa anyway and hops up to try and smack him in the face again.]

[The tables have turned! It's harder to dodge standing in one place--not that he was really doing that anyway--and his perch is a little wobbly... But he blocks Axel's face-smack with an arm and tries to bring his own pillow down for a solid bop on the head.]

[Even though they're playing a stupid game, it's nice to be hanging out with Roxas again. He pulls his pillow back to try and swat Roxas on the side but that leaves him low on the defense for a moment and sure enough he's hit right on top of the noggin there.]
