It would seem that the Head Nurse--assuming she's truly in charge of these curses, has an... interesting sense of humor. Just the other week I had a particularly nasty rumor spread about myself and now it seems that it's come true in a very literal sense. The rumor in particular was that I wore cat ears around my home. This week, well...

_{[Kimblee fiddles around with the SFC for a moment before he finally turns it to himself. At first, nothing seems out of the ordinary until a pair of ears perk up. But that's not all! He twists a bit and reaches back to bring a matching tail into view. Overall, he doesn't really mind it this time. They're much easier to conceal should he wish, but for the time being he's fine with just letting the ears do their thing.]}

Bravo, Miss Head Nurse, bravo. The irony of the situation certainly isn't lost on me.

Oh dear, oh dear...

[That, along with a small crash, are the first two sounds that Vatheon may hear one early morning. The video is a bit more difficult, at least for the first few moments. Darkleer always keeps his room fairly dim at night besides his workbench light, and now to add to the confusion, there seems to be a flurry of white and black obscuring the SFC's video camera.]

[After a moment, however, things settle and viewers should be able to see a currently shirtless Darkleer. It's hard to miss recognizing him, considering things. But a few things seem to be different... You know, like the enormous fuzzy and speckled wings extending from his back and laying mostly against the ground. They twitch, now and then, as Darkleer takes care to not stop on anything. Instead of his usual long arrow-shaped horns, a pair of antennae flow from his head that are just as fuzzy as his wings.]

[He tries to turn around, and one may see beyond the curtain of his own very long black hair some bit of moth fluff extending along a good deal of his spine. It can't yet be seen but it also extends a bit to his neck.]

[Noticing the state of the SFC, Darkleer very very carefully makes his way over to his desk.]

Since this is currently on regardless, could... anyone please inform me on the proper method of dealing with wings? Particularly extremely large ones that do not seem within the norm?

[They give another sudden twitch and Darkleer hunches his shoulders up, glancing over to where Summoner lays still unconscious on his bed. Darnit, matesprit, of all the times to be asleep...]

[ It takes herculean effort for the Psiioniic to turn the SFC on, but he manages it. Not that anyone could appreciate the work and mild head trauma he's put forth to accomplish this action.

There is a fat yet oddly expressive purple bee no bigger than an inch and a half on the screen, buzzing back and forth and flailing his little insectile legs. For those in the know, he's dancing in the intricate beenary code of a well-trained beehouse mainframe drone.

The message is simple: Help, I am a bee.

Otherwise, this is the rough equivalent of a funny video involving an unlikely dancing creature. Only without memetic background music.

And it's actually really, really stupid.

After way too long doing his little bee dance, he lands and speaks in such a faint voice it'd be easy to miss entirely:] Help.

[What a way to start the week. Pictured on the screen is... well, not anyone people would recognize, and indeed, not a 'person' in the usual sense. Instead, it's a glowering grey cat. Quite the fluffy one, too.]

What foul, encrusted nook pustule thought this was a good idea?

[The voice, though, that's definitely Karkat.]

So a cat god took favor on me once. So I got forced to wear a cat hat over a year ago for some other curse. That doesn't mean I want to be one! At least I can talk, but it looks like another week without thumbs is in store for me. I'd throw a party, but whoops, I can't! I don't even know how I'm supposed to open doors this week.

[Something flickers near the edge of the screen: the tip of his tail.]

But let's say I could. Say that, somehow, these decoration got put up and I had a goddamn celebration over being an overly furry mammal for a week. Even then, I wouldn't even be able to see things right, because my sense of color is all fucked up! Everything's all sort of blue-green-grey, and beyond that, I can tell my range of vision is shorter.

But all that whining aside, I have a warning. If any of you dickwipes tries to fawn over me, cuddle me, or god forbid do any stupid wiggler-talk nicknaming stupidity at me, I will find a way to introduce my claws to your face.

[There's a pause as he peers at the SFC, then a bit of pawing at the buttons, and the video shuts off.]

[The video clicks on, an ear twitches. A rather long tan ear, a face belonging to someone, with glasses and horrible teeth and yawns. Following by a stretch with his arms. One has to admit, the outfit looks a bit familiar. The person or animal rather cracks their neck. Whoever this is, appears to be in some kind of lab. Then speaking in a familiar nerdy voice]

How long was I sleeping on the table there?! [Rubs the back of his neck and then scratches his hair before looking over on the wall, which appears to have prison bar numbers and counts them]

Alright, how long have I been out?

If anyone can give me the status of the – CORAL! As far as what the power level has been and any oddies that went along with that. Would be greatly appreciated. Yes.

[Pause and more of a shuttering voice]

Have those murders subsided?

[Continues to rub the back of his neck]

[Ok. So like. Everything's... furry.

There's a loud clatter as his SFC topples to the ground and gets kicked around couple of times until video finally pops up. What you'll see is first a large paw followed shortly by two very vibrant green eyes, under them distinct black markings on a feline face. But this isn't your run of the mill house cat. Oh, dear, no.

This is a cheetah. And it's currently making odd chirping noises at the screen, frantic, then followed by curious purrs and mews as the giant cat steps back to show its complete body.

Why this cat's in Axel's room is any guess... or is it?

There's more chirping and tail flicking, claws digging into the ground and fur bristling in annoyance. Ok. No opposable thumbs and no voice. This could pose a problem.]

Accidental Video; Wine-ing Bunny

[It seems the best day for one of those fickle accident video posts. Faris had accidentally clicked the blasted Star on when he moved it to lean against something. The feed would show a couple empty bottles of wine and the pirate was working on another bottle. There was a bouquet of flowers dying in a vase close by.

The curse this week had given Faris fuzzy rabbit ears matching his purple hair with white on the tips and his skin tone on the inside. He was fiddling with a necklace around his neck with his free hand.

A second ticked by and then he raised his glass to clink it against the vase.]

Safe journey there, princess. [And then he’ll down the down the glass and let it drop.

He was probably pretty smashed from how he leaned forward to rest his head on the table.]

With the sun gone is this place so bright? [Chuckling a bit as he shook his head. One of his ears flopped forward.] Suppose it would actually be the water, huh?

[And then he’ll lean back in his chair, kicking his boots up on the table to rock the chair on it’s back two legs. There was a meow sounding from the background. It was one of the cats Faris had picked up recently.] Right, gotta take the good and the bad, furballs.

[Another meow and Faris decided it would be an awesome idea to lean back further to try to look at the critters he was conversing with. It was a little too far and the feed will cut off right after the pirate fell over with a clamor.]

Third Case [Video]

[A yowling scream is heard over the SFC. It had been one of shock. What had happened? A bedroom is seen, very plain and simple. It's white with the occasional accent of blue, gold or silver.

Soon enough a slender body walks by. Pants are on, however there seems to be a blue black tale of a Himalayan. It seems to be very long, very fluffy and very soft. The torso - still undressed - seems to have bandages wrapped around it. Is the person hurt?

Soft noises of cloth rustling are hurt to the side before there is a voice. It's not quite male but not quite female either.]

Where did I put - Oh, there it is.

[A hand comes into view. The nails seem to look more like claws than finger nails. It pulls back, revealing that it had grabbed a certain navy police chauffeur hat. There's a few moments of noise and growling before the voice is heard again.]

At least I can hide those.

[The camera is soon moved. It focuses on what appears like it should be a very unhappy Naoto. It's hard to know for sure if Naoto is cuter more more deadly by the fact that she appears to have the face of a cat. The voice heard now is fully male.]

Whoever did this can turn me back now. This has ceased to be funny.

[Was... that a growl that was just heard?]

Ahhh! So many cute animals on the network this morning!

[Fai's face fills the screen, showing off his adorably fuzzy new cat ears. It isn't seen, but his tail is swishing back and forth in amusement.]

This curse is so much fun, don't you all think so? Did everyone wake up with animal parts? Do they fit your personality? I think I'm going to have to change my outfit at the host club now with these new additions.

[Fai stands up and its then that you can see the tail come into view.] Does anyone know any good cat costumes that would be good to work in? Perhaps I can just pick a different colored suit with some cute kitty accents. A little bow tie with black cats on it or a fancy vest with the same.

[Angelina used to find curses rather amusing. But that was because none of them had affected her yet. Today when she woke up, she felt different, a ticklish sensation on hear head, near her ears. When she reached to touch them, they were big and furry!

She rushes over to her mirror, still wearing her nightshirt and notices she has adorable red fox ears sitting on top of her head. Wishing to be reassured, she turns on her SFC and promptly broadcasts a video.

As the feed opens, you can't yet see her face.]

Good morning, dear Vatheonites. Has anyone awoken today feeling rather... different?

Because I am quite sure that last night I did not have these!

[She holds the SFC in a way in which you can see her pointing at her new ears with her free hand.]

Fortunately these did not come with a tail, but honestly. Fox ears? [Pffft...] Whoever heard of such nonsense anyway...

Well, I do hope this is just a curse, but a week is such a long time...

This Must Be a Thing Now!

This is the second time I've been turned into a human this season. I wonder if this is supposed to be a regular thing for me, now... it's still quite a strange thing.

Well, I... suppose I could help anyone who's been turned into a mouse. It's happened a few times before, but I'm sure someone different has become a mouse this time.
