So today is Father's Day, at least where I'm from.

I can't be the only one missing their parents, can I?

[It's just been so long since he's seen them... and even when he gets back he's not sure if he can go see them.]

To be honest, I don't consider Him my family. I don't consider any of the angels to be my family.

I'm a whole lot closer to the 'enemy' than I am to my own 'side.' Especially now that I believe I've royally angered them by helping to avert the apocalypse.

[Did that make him a rebel?]

The only person on Earth-- or any other place for that matter-- whom I really would have missed is currently my next door neighbor.

... I'm glad. It's always good to have people, right? No matter what side they're on. And I think you deserve to be happy and have friends and people you can care about.

"Deserve" is an interesting word to use there. Hah, to be completely honest, it's the first time I've ever heard that I "deserve" to have friends or that I "deserve" to care about others.

I mean, after all, I'm an angel, friends don't exactly come in the job description. What exactly makes you say that I deserve them?
