Video: Gotta catch up on all the gossip!

[When Zelda first wakes up, her immediate instinct is to take a bath, and that is exactly what she does. It's not until an hour later (and much cleaner) that she bothers to talk to other people. After that, she picks up her SFC to make a video post, looking a little disoriented.]

I do apologize if I worried anyone. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I fell into a sleep coma as well. Has anything of interest happened in the past two weeks? I would appreciate hearing about it.

[Zelda is heading to the guest room where she keeps the Zora Tunics, counting the troll children on her SFC and folding them up neatly.]

[She's heading out the door now. She can check on the coral while she's there!]

[And he is! Up, up and awaaaa-- oh wait, better come back and put his sneakers on. YES. Now he is up, up and awaaaaay.

Followed closely by a determined gosling. He just can't leave his baby at home, Zelda. He can't.]

[Is that a little bird behind him? That's just too cute! Zelda laughs pleasantly and kneels with her stack of tunics to get a better look at the baby.]

Goodness, it must think that you're its mother! How old is it?

Couple a' weeks. Asked my brother and Summoner did up and say that the lil' man ain't had hisself no one anymore. So I've been taking care of him.

[The little goose bravely charges ahead, until he comes within a hand width away from Zelda and then. NOPE. Back to the comfort of mom's ugly clown sneakers.]

[The princess isn't particularly offended. If anything, she seems to find the way that it's hiding behind Gamzee endearing. She stands again and holds out the stack of tunics.]

Here they are. You simply need to wear it over your clothing or on its own and it will allow you to breathe underwater. I know that trolls are varied in size, so I brought quite a few.

[Thankfully, the tunics come in sizes all the way from Kokiri to Goron.]

[Aww, Zelda, you know it is coming. It is. It's a clown hug. Don't even try and dodge his long-ass skinny arms cause they will catch you and squeeze you to his chest.]

[When she first arrived in Vatheon (quite some time ago now), the contact would have made her jump. Now... first there was Signless to get her adjusted to hugging, then many others after that. It's not so terrible. She pats his back gently and smiles.]

If you'd like to thank me, try to watch your language just a little more.

[Her tone is chiding, but not really angry. She's picked up that Gamzee doesn't mean anything by it now, but still! She doesn't like hearing that word.]

[nobody can resist big clown-y hugs. Not even Karkat.]

Aight, aight, I'll try. I ain't up and the best at it though.

Oh, I know you don't mean anything by it.

[Zelda reaches up to pat his head gently, briefly thinking that his ancestor should cut his hair like this too. The mass of tangled ropes that he called "hair" were particularly offensive to her sensibilities.]

[Everything about the GHB is offensive, to be honest.

And yessss, head pats. Let him just... lower his head to receive more pats. And nearly smack her with his horns. Those things are just dangerously long.]

[The way he lowers his head into the patting reminds her of the horses they used to keep at the palace. Though, with his horns... he's more like a goat, isn't he? He seems to get into everything, too. She leans her head back enough that her eye isn't in danger of being jabbed out and gives him a good scratch.

[He eats everything too.]

[Okay, that is starting to sound dangerously much like a purr.]

Him and the lady at the pet place. Showed me all what about the grub he needs.

[Not purring, Zelda has a terrible weakness for that! Of course, when Gamzee does it she just finds it cute. She stops after a little more, not wanting him to curl up on the ground or something.]

Very well. I've kept some birds as well, so don't hesitate to ask for help. Though it seems a little shy, doesn't it?

Just cause he ain't ever got his gander on at you before. He and Darkleer strife like they be throwing fuckin' spades at each other.

Gamzee leans down to scoop up the goose, holding him up so she can get a good look at him.]

Milenko meet Zelda. Zelda, Milenko. Once you two are bro, he ain't got not reason to get his shy on at ya.

[She can't imagine Darkleer doing anything as immature as arguing with a goose, but if Gamzee says so...]

How do you do, Milenko?

[Zelda holds her hand out palm up, close enough that the gosling could get a look if he wanted but far enough away that he hopefully won't feel threatened.]

[Milenko regards her hands for a moment, keeping still before finally curiously starting to extend his neck towards it, pressing his beak against her fingers for a moment before retreating again.]

You can all like call him Milo if you wanna. All my other peeps do.

[The bird's quick retreat earns a chuckle from her and she nods.]

Milo it is, then. Well! I shan't keep you any longer, Gamzee. Do remember to pass those tunics out, alright? Just to be safe.

[She's a little concerned if she doesn't send him to do it now that he might forget...]

I will. Won't ever up and put that shit in my sylladex or nothing. Just gonna hold it so I can't be getting my motherfuckin' forget on at that.
