Video: Gotta catch up on all the gossip!

[When Zelda first wakes up, her immediate instinct is to take a bath, and that is exactly what she does. It's not until an hour later (and much cleaner) that she bothers to talk to other people. After that, she picks up her SFC to make a video post, looking a little disoriented.]

I do apologize if I worried anyone. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I fell into a sleep coma as well. Has anything of interest happened in the past two weeks? I would appreciate hearing about it.

[Zelda hasn't forgotten the newer house rules they came up with together, but she simply couldn't imagine a scenario in which Kanaya's presence would offend Zelos. She smiles pleasantly.]

Zelos, this is Kanaya. She's a friend, and the one responsible for my newer clothing.

[With Zelos dying and then going into a coma (and then Zelda immediately afterward!), the clothing still feels new.]

Kanaya, this is Zelos. He is one of my housemates.

[Poor Kanaya! She's never met someone who was acting flirtatious before. She's a bit confused by the gesture of kissing the hand. Zelos may have noticed that her skin is rather warm. He almost certainly would have already noticed the way it is glowing.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Zelos. Thank you for the complements. I made this sundress, as well as two other outfits, the last of which I have brought with me.

[She offers the box to Zelda, while looking for a coat hook or similar on which to hang the garment bag.]

The gloves and pearls are in here. I couldn't find anything appropriate so I felted an existing box for a more acceptable jewelry container.

[Noting the troll's eyes shifting around searchingly, Zelda gestures to the coat hook in the corner. She looks a little shy at all the work that Kanaya's put into it, but not displeased.]

Really, you didn't have to go to all that trouble... but thank you, I do appreciate it.

[The princess accepts the box and runs her ungloved (for once) hands over it, quietly appraising the texture.]

Oh-ho~ I don't suppose you take requests for other things, do you Kanaya-hunny? See, I've started up this club and we'll need new costumes for the staff every month but I don't really know anyone who sews... until now, that is.

[He winks at her conspiratorially.]

You'll be compensated for all your hard work, of course, if you say yes.

[Well that doesn't sound wrong at all... He doesn't mean it to anyway, he's just excited about his little pet project.]

I operate a storefront in the middle district where I specifically take commissions for clothing creations. You are the one organizing that host club thing, right? I'm sure we can come to an agreement.

That'd be fantastic! It would be something like ten or fifteen costumes a month, do you think you can handle such a large volume? I know that's a lot. We can give you the themes well in advance though, just lemme know how much time you need and what you want for all the work ♥

Zelos grins at Zelda sidelong after gushing to Kanaya about the costumes. You remember when he woke up in new clothes, Zelda? Well...]

[Now this Kanaya is oblivious to. She's a bit distracted by the high volume of work she'd have to do for this club thing.]

Would you have a standard uniform to fall back on, in addition to monthly costumes? After the first few months would you be fine with rotating previous outfits? That's just a rather heavy workload to keep up for an in determinant time frame. I'll also need to know just what it is you'll be doing so I can plan the outfits accordingly.

Yeah, we can offset with some store bought things to start. I wouldn't want to bury you in too much work, of course! I'm not heartless. We'll have a costume schedule to ya as soon as I can hammer one out with Peony.

[Yeah he's totally ignoring your spaz Zelda. Or not. Actually he's enjoying it quite a lot but he's not going to draw Kanaya's attention to it. Like he said, he's not heartless.]

[Zelda takes the garment bag hurriedly and runs off, eager to exit this conversation. It doesn't occur to her that she'll be expected to show how it fits.

So, what exactly will your club be doing? Anything that might require more freedom of movement, or easily cleaned fabrics? I really have no idea what a "host club" is supposed to be.

Mostly just entertaining guests. It's basically just sitting around talking, sharing some drinks. A couple of the staff'll be in the kitchen but it's all simple stuff so just throwing an apron over whatever they're wearing should be fine. Of course, easily laundered fabric would be a plus and I'd prefer nothing that's not much more restrictive to movement than a suit. We're doing suits for the opening.

If it's too much we can definitely find you some people to help, though I'm not sure who else sews around here.

[He really has no idea how much work goes into something like that. He knows good work when he sees it but that's about it.]

I should be able to handle this... I think. I sort of met a few people who sew a few months ago, but I've never really met them. I don't even know if any of them are still in the bubble besides Italy, and we never actually talked.

I'll need to have each of your club members come here to my shop so I can take measurements. I shouldn't need to fit the uniforms specifically unless they're measurements change, but if something doesn't quite fit correctly I can always tailor it further after the fact.

Kinda hard to keep track of people in the bubble, eh? Small as it is. I can definitely have my staff pay you a visit, though one of 'em you might have to get someone else to take measurements. He kind of has this problem with women...

What sort of a problem would that be? I don't know anybody else who would know how to properly take measurements but I might be able to figure something out.

[Zelda tiptoes downstairs after realizing that she forgot to tell Kanaya that is was alright to follow her, peeking her head around the corner. It seems wrong somehow to be wearing something like this in front of Zelos, so she's trying to conceal it.]

It, ah, it fits...

[It fits very well. She might as well be naked. What was she thinking, coming downstairs in this?!]

I don't think it would be impossible. You should send him with someone else then, another club member, or yourself. I could tell them how to take the measurements, if it would be a problem otherwise. I'm afraid I don't entirely understand such a phobia, but humans place much more emphasis on sex as identity than trolls do.

[Well excuuuse me, princess! I happen to know for a fact that you were showing more skin in that sundress! Kanaya turns and heads for Zelda, hoping to confirm the fit. It should be perfect, some of her best work in her own opinion.]

Did you need help with the back? I thought it might be a bit hard to do up by oneself.

[He trails off as Zelda peeks around the bottom of the stairs. He can't see much as she's using the wall for a screen, but just the way she's acting makes him wonder what the heck it is Kanaya's brought her to wear.

[She steps partially into view with her back turned, holding her hair out of the way. She can't wear an undershirt with this dress, and "bra" is not a word in her vocabulary apparently!]
