[When Zelda first wakes up, her immediate instinct is to take a bath, and that is exactly what she does. It's not until an hour later (and much cleaner) that she bothers to talk to other people. After that, she picks up her SFC to make a video post, looking a little disoriented.]

I do apologize if I worried anyone. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I fell into a sleep coma as well. Has anything of interest happened in the past two weeks? I would appreciate hearing about it.

[It's half an hour later that Zelda knocks on his door. She'd hardly been presentable after all, she'd just woken up. She's dressed properly now and has her hair up in a neat bun. They haven't met in person before this, have they? Strange how the network can make someone feel like a friend even if you've never actually seen them before.]

[He opens the door and bows courteously, and moves to the side to let her come inside.]

Good afternoon Zelda, it's very nice to finally meet you in person.

It's good to meet you as well. It's such a small city, I am a little surprised we haven't run into each other before now. Of course, I was sleeping for quite some time.

[She returns the bow with a dip of her head before stepping inside, quietly looking around in an attempt to make sure they won't be overheard... by locals, at least.]

Indeed, I believe it was about time we met off the network. Please, have a seat... [He offers her a seat in the living room.]

Would you care for tea? I was about to brew some.

[She settles down, spreading her skirts around her. It seems safe enough in here. Now, should she name names or just say what Carol said without implicating her?]

[Tatsumi leaves Zelda for a few moments to make the tea. He later comes back with two cups of tea, sugar and milk, in case she wishes to add some to hers.

He offers her a cup.] It's warm.

[She smiles up at him gently before taking the cup. Zelda considers it rude to not at least try the tea as it's been presented, so she has a sip before adding some sugar.]

Quite some time ago, I asked one of the local scientists if she believes in the people that she works for. She grew very quiet and looked at me without responding. With the coral acting up, a friend of mind contacted this same woman and asked if these problems were an experiment of some sort, if the administration here knew what they were doing.

[Zelda looks up to see if he's following.]

She implied that they do not. When asked what we were expected to do about this, she said she expects us to be heroes.

[He takes his cup and sips at the tea. He is used to the bitter taste of green and other Japanese teas, so he doesn't add any sugar to his. He listen carefully to everything he says, and nods when she asks him for a sign that he is following her. But he does not speak until she is done for the moment.]

So this scientist told you that they were not experimenting on us, but we are expected to be heroes? Is that correct? [Heroes? Really?] Would that mean they do not have control over the coral?

[She's had quite some time to mull over the conversation with Carol that Guy relayed to her, and these are her impressions.]

I apologize; I was unclear. We are indeed subjects of some sort, my friend was only asking if the recent trouble with the coral was the result of an experiment. It is not. The most important piece of information he gathered speaking with her is that even if they have control, it is not absolute. It is slipping. I have expected as much since the observational devices that used to follow us around exploded. Though most of them still want to act as if they have a perfect handle on things, this woman wants us to try and save everyone - the locals as well as ourselves.

[He nods. This is not good. Not good at all.]

I understand. So if the locals' control over the coral is slipping... [Shakes his head.] I don't like this. I don't see why we should try to save the locals as well, when this mess is their own fault. Unfortunately, we probably don't have a choice...

Saving them is saving ourselves, in this case. I do agree that we should not go out of our way until they are more forthcoming, but I certainly wouldn't be adverse to some sort of alliance if they sided with us outright.

[Perhaps such an attitude is colder than most would expect of the generally sunny princess, but a ruler is practical if nothing else.]

[Asato has been standing by the living room's door, listening to their conversation, unnoticed. He doesn't understand everything but given Tatsumi and Zelda's tone, this is serious.]

Do you mean there will be some kind of... war ?

[Tatsumi looks towards the door, where Tsuzuki and their new puppy Cinnamon are standing looking confused. He pats a spot on the sofa next to him for Tsuzuki to sit in.]

Tsuzuki-san, it's good to see you're back. May I introduce you to Zelda, she is someone who has been in Vatheon for a long time.

Oh... did you come back without your memories, Tsuzuki?

[She still remembers when he'd offered her flowers on the steps of the library. He'd seemed like such a kind man...]

I suppose it doesn't matter. There already is a war, though we are not involved in it just yet.

[Asato walks to them and sits near Tatsumi, Cinnamo curling up into his lap. He slightly bows at Zelda, she seems to be someone important.]

I... I am not the same Tsuzuki than the one you met, Zelda-san.

So... What kind of war it is ?

[He gently pats Tsuzuki's shoulder as a 'welcome home' gesture.]

As far as we know, the war is between the locals and an enemy of theirs. But they are experimenting something with us.

[He had an extra cup in case Tsuzuki showed up, and serves him some tea.]

[She just takes the bow as general politeness and dips her head to him in response.]

Indeed they are. Our connection to the Lamufao is an experiment. The curses that happen are related to that, as well. I shudder to think what would happen if they unraveled its secrets. Access to all of time and space, immortality... the person that figures how how everything works here will hold a lot of power indeed.

[Asato nods and thoughtfully sips his tea. He doesn't like being experimented on.]

Mm... Are they doing this to see if one of us could be able to hold this power ?
