[Fai sets the device down on the railing and that is when it clicks on, not that he realizes it at the moment. He sighs softly as he drapes himself over the railing, dangling his arms and hanging his head as he looks out across the city below. There is a reason he picked the highest apartment available in his complex and it is so he could look out just like this.]

I wonder if I've been doing too much at the Olympics..I feel tired but I just can't sleep. Maybe it's too much sun. I really shouldn't be outside all day. And I haven't fed in awhile. I don't want to end up like before so I should really go back to the store soon..Ah, maybe that is why I can't sleep.

[He picks his head up and folds his arms on the railing, resting his chin on top of them. He's quiet for a moment and then his expression softens into one that he very rarely shows to people. One that probably portrays the sad feelings housed deep inside his heart.]

It really is lonely and quiet without them around. I keep saying it isn't lonely to live alone..but I'm really not used to it. It's been a long time since I've slept someplace by myself like this. Just keep smiling! We need to just keep going..It would be bad if people say you like this!

[After that little pep talk, he sighs again, buries his face in his arms and the rest is rather muffled as he speaks.]

I really do miss them though...

[His gaze is soft when he responds. He knows all to well about the smiling thing. But he's not going to pry about that. Their silent agreement.]

I thought I told you to tell me when you got hungry.

[Fai's shoulder jerk in surprise as he hears that voice and there is a quick movement as he tries to wipe away something that might have been spilling out of that one good eye. He lifts his head up and looks around before spotting the device. A rather uncertain smile comes to his lips.]

Ah, Johnny-san..I didn't realize that was on. I've been alright. I was getting the packs from the store.

[He offers a small smile, though, at the mention of the blood packs, he looks away.

Hmm...those don't work for me, I don't know if they'll work for you either. Still, let me help. I'll be over in a moment.

Ah I see..That might explain it then. [Fai sighs but nods as he picks up the device and stands up straight again. His smile is a little stronger though. At least if Johnny is here he won't have to be alone for awhile.]

Alright. If you insist~

[Johnny smiles before cutting the feed and it's not long before the swarm of bats flew through a window and grouped to form the vampire.]

Heelloo~~

[Fai walks down the stairs from the upper level of the apartment to meet Johnny below.] Welcome, Johnny-san~ I hope I wasn't interrupting anything when that device turned on.

[He shakes his head and walks over to Fai as well.]

Not at all~ Besides, even if it had, you're a friend, and those always come first~

Now then, will you eat? You'll make me fret otherwise~

I appreciate that.

[Fai smiles cutely up at it as he approaches.]

We can't have Johnny-san fretting, so of course I will eat.

Good~

[He slides the already open button-down off his shoulders and drops it, then reaches out for Fai to pull him into a hug. It was what he was used to, at least.]

[There's a very concerned teen on the video feed. He can't say he knows Fai well, but he's been working with him and has never seen him this sad or distant before. It's troubling enough on it's own, but the things he was saying...]

[Rin shakes his head slowly, offering his own uncertain smile. Fai probably doesn't want to talk about it, given that reaction, but it doesn't stop Rin from worrying.

In fact he's been worrying about his friends a lot lately. If he seems a little on edge, there's a good reason for that.]

Just... wonderin' how you were doin', that's all.

I'm doing okay. I think I'm just wearing myself out with the tavern, and host club, and now the olympics. I'm staying very busy! Are you taking part in the olympics?

Oh, no. Not really in to sports.

[And he gets enough of that marathon crap back home with the phys ed classes that are required for exorcists.]

That's a lot to take on. You gonna be okay?

I'll be fine. I have lots of energy!

[Fai's smile is a bit brighter now as if to prove his point. Granted that energy seems to be draining quickly because of the lack of his prey..but he isn't going to think about that.]
