Raindrops fall onto the camera, but they're wiped off by the owner of the SFC, one vampire who's currently standing dressed only in an open button-down and loose, low-hanging jeans that are rolled up to above his knees, calf-deep in the ocean as the rain falls steadily from the sky.

Apparently, he likes to live on the edge with those clouds.]

Back home, I've heard it said that God is in the rain just as He is in the sun's rays...

[So, then, why is it only the sun that burns?]

Rain is grace; rain is the sky condescending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life...and yet, people hide away from the rain and seek shelter inside and curse nature for ruining their bright and sunny day. Why?

[Finally he turns a small, vaguely sad, smirk to the camera.]

What about all of you? What are your qualms with the rain? Does it have any sort of significance for you personally or back home? Or is it just the thing that hides the sun from your face~?

I enjoy the sunlight, but you knew that already. I would not have a problem with rain, but I rather wish it was only around at night, or in sparse enough cloud cover to let the sun through regardless of weather.

I don't recall you ever saying if the sun affected you. I know that is a common facet of vampire myths.

Well, from a tactical standpoint, it can be a double edged sword. Rain washes away the tracks of those you may be trying to find and the water gets in your eyes. At the same time, it can hide you and the sound of an arrow going through the air can be masked under the sound of falling rain.

Not to mention it can be a bother to get any work done outside...

Still, it is rather nice when I am not on duty. It rained and snowed often where I lived as a young boy.

The rain never mattered much to me..On my home world it never rained. There was only snow. So I've never really gotten a chance to enjoy it for its good qualities.

But the world where I lost my eye and everything changed was a world plagued by acid rain. So my thoughts on rain are rather conflicting.
