[ he may have no idea where he is or what's going on... but it's still only polite to greet whoever's listening. he's still fairly drenched, yet doesn't seem to really mind. if anything, he doesn't even seem to notice. he glances to his left and right, wondering if anyone else might be nearby, before pulling something out of his pocket. it had once been a ticket stub... but now completely wet and torn, it's not even remotely recognizable. ]

I wonder if I can get a refund...

[ probably not... he tucks the ticket back into his pocket, deciding not to discard it even if it has been reduced to nothing more than trash. it might come in handy somehow in the future ]

I was just on a train to Tokyo... [ a slight sigh. ] Unless Tokyo has really changed in the last year, I'm pretty sure this isn't it. Can someone tell me what's going on...?

[ cheerful though she might seem on the surface, there's also a strange hint of melancholy to that smile. he can't even begin to fathom why, but it nonetheless affects him a bit. ]

lose one, gain another. vatheon more or less had a general cycle about once a month that was very.. inconspicuous, to say the least - but he'd at least gotten into the habit of giving the network a quick mandatory check around that time regardless of whether or not he felt like shooting the breeze. it seemed like a good idea, especially considering the results it was giving him lately -

like this one.

granted, this wasn't particularly a bad thing - in fact, it kind of worked in his favor. the hanamura kid had made it pretty blatant that he couldn't handle making any possibly crucial decisions on his own - although he'd kept his mouth shut so far, even when the takeba chick had been unexpectedly present with the two of them, so that at least showed adachi on which spectrum of 'yes' or 'no' he was leaning amidst his confusion.

not to mention the whole izanami thing - that was interesting. this whole situation was interesting; and while he liked to fancy every now and then that he had some sort of advantage here, there was always one thing nagging at him.

tokyo, huh... and a year since he'd last seen it? at least that saves a little time on the guessing games. so if he was right, that would set leader-kun here ahead of him.

scratch that - after checking the replies before him, he's definitely right; the tickets were from inaba to tokyo. ]
