[ A man can be seen kneeling in the plaza, his clothes rumpled as though he had just been running. His expression is both pained and saddened, but he keeps his voice calm.

He needs to say this.]

Some of you may recognize me as Doctor Riffael Raffit. I am Riff Raffit, but...the man known as Riffael is the one who has been terrorizing people for a month.

I am sorry I could not do anything sooner...if I had-

[All the people who had been hurt by his hands..shared hands, but his nonetheless.]

I know what I am saying might not make sense in full but if it helps, if it is easier: I am the one you've been looking for.

[He pauses, eyes closing a moment.]

I have control right now, I won't be moving from this place. I beg of you, someone, come stop him.

[Others in the defense force are almost certainly closer to the coral than he is, and besides that - he thinks he does actually believe him.]

[It doesn't sound like an excuse, not to him. If Sheik had done something awful, back in Hyrule when he had still been around, would Zelda have been responsible? Then why can't this Riff be an innocent bystander as Riffael terrorised and killed and tortured?]

[Link exhales, studying the image carefully, scrutinising every detail. If Riffael ever returns, he will not hesitate to stop him. And then he sets the SFC down.]
