This Must Be a Thing Now!
This is the second time I've been turned into a human this season. I wonder if this is supposed to be a regular thing for me, now... it's still quite a strange thing.
Well, I... suppose I could help anyone who's been turned into a mouse. It's happened a few times before, but I'm sure someone different has become a mouse this time.

[Ah, hah, she said that a bit hastily. She laughs, awkwardly, entering the house.]
...I would like to stay downstairs. I still haven't quite gotten used to balancing myself very well.
[Action]
[He leads her to one of the downstairs bedrooms, nicely done up with fresh linens and sweet pea blossoms in a vase on the nightstand (he may have snagged some while she was on her way to decorate for his guest.)]
How's this?
[Action]
[Action]
Give him a minute.]
Well they were just in the garden and I thought they'd be nice, y'know?
[Action]
Well, whatever the case, that's very sweet. Thank you.
[Action]
[His kitty ears perk up a bit.]
Anything I can get you? Are you hungry? Thirsty?
[Well isn't he eager to please today.]
[Action]
[Action]
[He makes a b-line for the kitchen.]
I'll whip it up in a jiff~
[Action]
Thank you, Zelos. I could help in the kitchen, if you like.
[Action]
[Zelos, on the other hand, doesn't think much of it. He notices things about everyone. Their likes, their dislikes, hobbies and passions. All the better to ingratiate himself. Honestly though, he does love to see a woman's face light up when he's noticed something they thought he didn't. It's satisfying to see that expression of gratitude.
The Chosen sets out a cup of tea on the kitchen table for his guest; he'd already been brewing the honeysuckle flower tea for himself to try and it wasn't so far fetched that Brisby might like it as well. Once he's warned her it's hot, he gets to cooking. Soon the sound of chopping vegetables permeates the air.]
[Action]
Thank you, Zelos. You really are going the extra mile to make me feel at home!
[Action]
[Volunteering information about himself? Unheard of!]
Still, I'm glad you feel at home~ I wouldn't want you left out in the cold now, obviously ♥
[Action]
[It'll be her turn to remember something about you!]
I would object and say it's not so cold, but it's still very strange to not have fur! Though I don't suppose you would quite understand. It's quite... naked!
[Action]
It's just an expression, Brisby-hunny~
[All the awkward laughing as he dumps the vegetables into the pot.]
[Action]
[Action]
[He sets the soup to simmer and places the lid, finally able to join Brisby at the table with his apron still on and his hair back and up in a high ponytail to keep it out of the food.]
I was a horse once.
[Unicorn. Horse. Same difference.]
[Action]
[Action]
[How does he always manage to get on the topic of parents with Brisby? He'll never know.]
[Action]
[Action]
[Otherwise they just shouldn't have any...]
[Action]
...Well, without them alive and happy.
[She... sighs, a bit sadly, rubbing her temples. After so long being stuck in Vatheon, she feared she'd never see them again...]
I suppose there's nothing I can do but worry, and hope that they really aren't alone at home without any parents to guide them.
[Action]
[Because if you can't trust Colette, who can you trust?
He puts a hand on hers gently in comfort and smiles.]
No need to fret.
[Action]
[She laughs a bit nervously.]
Our conversations always end up so grim, but you're always very supportive. I appreciate it. I really do!
[Action]
[Oh gosh stoppit Brisby he's actually pretty terrible, but you're the last person he wants ever finding that out.
Good goddess, did she actually say trust? He'll just.. try not to feel ill at that...]
[Action]
...Is something the matter, Zelos?
