Well this is new. It's not every day I get kidnapped.   And to think, today was going so well too.

[After a few moments a petite red-head of a scientist appears on the screen with trees in the background. She looks less then thrilled. It wasn't everyday Washu came across things she couldn't manipulate and here she's encountered two in less than five minutes.  Either someone out there was one hell of a genius or it will take a little longer than usual to try and figure her way out of this.]

Considering how well kept this place is, there must be intelligent lifeforms out here somewhere. So can someone tell me what's going on?

A scientist after my own heart~. I would love to see what you have. Perhaps I can help somehow. For the most part my abilities seem to be intact.

Except for the ones that would allow me to escape of course but that's to be expected.

[The first sent is the Vantas boy's discovery when they first received access to the island.]

[The second would be the hacked files they managed to get from the laboratories. Not much, but it's what they've managed to get.]

Has there been any discovery as to who the control group in this study could be?

I'm afraid not. It may be the the local population, but there's no definitive proof to that.

Are the locals affected by the curses at all?

No. In fact, they seem to be expendable in the eyes of the Head Nurse.

She is the individual in charge of the medical building. She is not a foreigner like the rest of us, nor is she a local, I believe.

She can be rather ruthless.

Interesting. If she's not a local and not a foreigner, then what is she? Does any one know?

This past April, their idea of a prank was slaughtering one of their own and acting as if there was a murderer on the loose. Just recently... Well, allow me to send you another file.

[And so comes the Nurse's broadcast. The main focus is the conversation he had with her, but Washu should be able to go through the other conversations to see just the kind of punishment the Nurse as dealing out.]

I believe if we really aggravated her, she could do quite a bit of harm.

[There's silence as she looks over the linked broadcast. Well that wasn't a good thing. In fact, it reminds her a little.. to much of Kagato.]

I wouldn't doubt it. Did you ever learn anything about the experiment she was talking about?

It centers around us and the coral, that much is painfully obvious. Details, however, are sparse.
