Well this is new. It's not every day I get kidnapped.   And to think, today was going so well too.

[After a few moments a petite red-head of a scientist appears on the screen with trees in the background. She looks less then thrilled. It wasn't everyday Washu came across things she couldn't manipulate and here she's encountered two in less than five minutes.  Either someone out there was one hell of a genius or it will take a little longer than usual to try and figure her way out of this.]

Considering how well kept this place is, there must be intelligent lifeforms out here somewhere. So can someone tell me what's going on?

Yes, they can. Considering magic has simlair principles of - SCIENCE!

[Beat and to himself] And then there are some things that science can't explain at all.

[Normal tone]

You're also not in your universe but in a vortex universe. In which one could argue that both science and magic apply here.
