-- goes the SFC device and following it is a small, black and fuzzy mass. The camera spins a little on its side before focusing (sideways) on said black and fuzzy mass slowly start to move. Two paws stretch out and it yawns loudly, ears pulling back.

Oh, it's a cat. An odd one at that, judging by the two small horns on its head.]

Ugh, I feel like I've been in a coma... [And it just talked too.

Oblivious to the SFC recording the odd cat walks back over to the bed he fell out of and reaches up with a paw to drag a pillow off and onto the floor.

So that he may crawl back on top of it and curl up for another nap. What a cat.]

[Eventually he'll get tired of sleeping (shocking) and make his rounds around the Villa to stretch out his legs.

It was only a matter of time until he walks in on Stein, padding quietly around the back of his chair. He's never met the man in person before, but he's heard about him in conversation.

Night jumps up, suddenly out of nowhere, next to him on the couch.] You're from Maka's world, right?

[Stein's soul perception is always on, a low hum in the peripheral. He does not sense Night.

As a result, when Night pops up next to him, Stein throws a scalpel at the demon and jumps up off the couch with a cut off curse.]

MROW-! [Startled cat screech. Night bounds away and off the back of the couch, claws out and fur puffed up.

He crawls underneath the couch, hissing lowly.] What the hell was that all about?! You nearly took my tail off!

[A long pause, Stein pushing up his glasses, twisting the screw in his head, retrieving his weapon from the couch where it stuck into the fabric.]
