Oh, it's a cat. An odd one at that, judging by the two small horns on its head.]

Ugh, I feel like I've been in a coma... [And it just talked too.

Oblivious to the SFC recording the odd cat walks back over to the bed he fell out of and reaches up with a paw to drag a pillow off and onto the floor.

So that he may crawl back on top of it and curl up for another nap. What a cat.]

[Shiro has actually never seen Night in kitty form, so his first thought is that it's not Night, but Kuro there.

Curious, Shiro goes over to where Night is to peek in and see what is going on in there.]

[Shiro furrows his brows at that. If this cat-demon isn't Kuro, then who is it?

Thinking back, though, the voice is familiar. He has to think about it for a moment before he remembers where he heard it before.]

[He knew Night was a demon, but he didn't know Night could turn into a cat.]

[So about midway into his second attempt at a nap Night realizes he is super hungry. Maybe a nap can wait after a snack.

So he pads outside towards the kitchen, still a bit out of it when he catches wind of a bird. Normally he wouldn't care too much but he feels like he hasn't eaten in weeks. Odd.

Then he sees it- him. Night follows after Davesprite, suddenly in alert-hunting-mode, eyes wide and ears flattened back. Closer... closer...]

[Eventually he'll get tired of sleeping (shocking) and make his rounds around the Villa to stretch out his legs.

It was only a matter of time until he walks in on Stein, padding quietly around the back of his chair. He's never met the man in person before, but he's heard about him in conversation.

Night jumps up, suddenly out of nowhere, next to him on the couch.] You're from Maka's world, right?

[There's a moment, just a second where Rin catches the flash of horns and black fur that he thinks--

But no. He should know better than to get his hopes up.

He's not going to hold it against Night, though. He can't help who he is any more than they can help Kuro being gone. And really, he's relieved, too, that Night is still around.

Even so... it still hurts. It's a feeling that isn't just going to go away any time soon.

Night must be hungry after that long asleep, though, and Rin quietly moves in to the room, trying to sneak in and leave a bowl of sukiyaki next to him for whenever Night has the energy to move again.]
