[ At first, the video consists of inoffensive ocean blue carpet and bright fuschia shoes. The giggling, glubbing nonsense sounds that follow gives Feferi away well before she speaks.

And that interlude lasts about one agonizingly giddy minute. And then, in a stage whisper: ]

Hello! Glub glub glub, I've done the most fantastic thing today. I'm just so excited!

[ She brings her SFC up at arms' length to point at her grinning fangy face, and then turns it around to point at a dressing room door next to a rack of wildly colorful clothing. ]

Wait for it, just hang on to your fins here...!

[The door opens and Sollux inches out, his shoulders hunched and his head down. He looks around furtively, not yet seeing that Feferi is holding her SFC, because he's looking all around for anyone else that might be there to see this.

He's wearing a tasteful number. At least, it's tasteful in the mind of Feferi, and likely not anyone else in the known universe.]

FF, this is fun and all, but to be honest I don't think this is my style-- Hey, what are you doing?

[As horrified realization hits, he lunges forward and makes a grab for her SFC.]

I-- Yeah, I guess? Not like he's talking.

[Kurloz shrugs. They're exchanging insults, that counts as a nice conversation, doesn't it?

He waves to Feferi, and gives her a thumbs-up for the outfit. They both look ridiculous, but it's the same kind as Mituna and Latula's matching jumpsuits.]

Shore you are, see? And yeah, I think we're cute, too, Makara! Thanks for the advice.

[ She'll just happily invent his side of the conversation forever. ]

[He gives Kurloz a long-suffering look, but grins]

Can you understand this silent weirdo, or are you just making it up, FF?

[He shakes his head. Which one he's disagreeing with, well, that's kind of ambiguous. It's totally the second one. He doesn't mind it, if it gets Fereri thinking of him as harmless.]

[terribubbly]

[ See? He's totally on her side about this. ]

Oh, he's not so slippery as you'd think. We're getting along great, so it's eelsy to figure him out.

[He's not sure there are sides, but he does know this guy is creepy] Okay, whatever. I can see why you two get along, though.

[Kurloz tilts his head and raises an eyebrow. Why would that be, Sollux? Inquiring minds want to know.]

[ Feferi mirrors the expression more because it amuses her than anything else. ]

Because you talk too much. [He pokes Feferi between the eyes] And you don't say anything. [He points at Kurloz] It's like the perfect symbiosis.

[That gets a thumbs up from him. Clearly this friendship was meant to be, by those standards.]
