[This may seem like an accidental broadcast, and in some ways it is, but the person on the other end with the mint-green hair appears to be rather intently focused on the SFC. He's pressing buttons, attempting to understand the device via trial and error. The video goes on and off a couple of times, before eventually coming on and staying on.
Whoever he is, he's every bit the new arrival in appearances, with that mess of hair sopping wet, and his white button down and black undershirt just as damp. Not that he's bothered any. Even the fact that his bangs are hanging in his eyes doesn't stop him from keeping his attention completely on the SFC. Something tall and furry is also wandering around behind him, poking it's snout over his shoulder from time to time to stare at what's in this teenager's hands with intense bright blue eyes.
Eventually text accompanies the video.]
Hello
[Before he can continue type more, though, the creature reaches over with a clawed paw and takes it away from him, making the view shift wildly, and it prompts the teen to speak, though he hardly seems angry.]
Zoroark, give that back. I wasn't finished.
[The creature doesn't speak, but it gives a look to N, and it turns it over so that the video is on his face completely. N's voice can still be heard speaking to him, though.]
Yes, I know, we'll find something to eat later. Taking my things away isn't going to make me go any faster.
[The Zoroark huffs, and as he goes to hand the SFC back the video feed turns off. Oops.]
[action: plaza]
[N has managed to find the towels on his own, but he might still seem a little lost, and he's got a hungry Zoroark that keeps pawing at him even as he tries to get his mass of hair dry. It's an interesting scene to watch, at least?]

Zoroark seems to notice they're being stared at, though, and is looking up in Anna's direction.]
Action
Those are pretty eyes, and a pretty... hairbead?
Anna tends to have few problems with strange creatures, whether they always looked like strain or not, so a few clicking steps and she'll be closer to stare up at the creature. Why do you keep bothering the green haired human? ]

Is that a pokemon?

[Oh okay it does work like an Xtransciever. Good to know.]
Yes, it is.

[Oh wait, he's being rude, whoops.]

Nanaki actually happened to have a bag of groceries with her, which she was taking back to her apartment, but the sight of N and Zoroark makes her stop. She's not sure what Zoroark is, but she's guessing it's N's friend or something.
After watching for a while, she'll go over to the pair.]
Sorry to bother you, but is everything alright?
action
[N looks up from his SFC, blinking in quiet, somewhat blank-looking confusion. Zoroark sees the food and starts pawing at his arm, which gets N to pay far more attention to him than the person speaking to them.]
You can't take her food. We can get our own.
action
Uh. Is your friend here hungry?
[Sorry Zoroark, she doesn't speak pokemon so she'll talk to N for now.]

Welcome to Vatheon. May I ask your names?
[The smile actually seems more directed at the strange creature than the green-haired young man.]
action
Zoroark. And I'm N.
action
I am Dhaos. I heard you were in need of food?
[Yep, that last part is definitely directed at Zoroark. Nothing against you N, he just likes non-humanoids better on whole than people.]

Being in the habit of carrying treats now that he lives down the way from people who own animals, Fai fishes out an apple from seemingly nowhere (sylladexes sure are handy). Tentatively, he offers the fruit to this new pokemon.]

The crunching gets N's attention, prompting him to look up from the SFC first, and then back down from where the apple apparently came from. He doesn't say anything for a bit but eventually speaks for his friend:]
Zoroark says 'thank you'.

You're welcome. I have more, if you want another one.

It's been a literal year now, at least. The green hair is unmistakable, though, and Yukari stares at the accidental feed for a moment, mouth parted in surprise. She doesn't know what to think of all this -- what if he doesn't remember who she is, what if he does --
But she does know she has to reply.
Somehow . . .]
hello
[Admittedly it isn't much, but it's a start.]
text
Hello.
text
As far as reactions go, that doesn't tell her much, but it isn't really fair to expect much more when she only had the courage to send him one word. Her second message is slightly more substantial.]
i see you managed to get your sfc back (^ ^)/

So, perched precariously on a mailbox nearby Zidane held out a cookie, attempting to lure it over so he could take a better look. ]
[action]
At least at first. By the time the Pokemon is standing in front of Zidane and reaching out a clawed hand to take the cookie, N seems to have vanished from where he was standing, and is now behind Zidane and his mailbox.]
What are you doing?
[That's directed at both of them.]

That's rather mean of him to not feed you, don't you think?
[Yes, she's actually addressing Zoroark directly. She also happens to have some
jelly donutsrice balls.]You want some?
[action]
I wasn't not going to feed him. He's impatient.
[Zoroark does look happy about the offer, though, and eagerly takes a rice ball.
Thank you!]
[action]
[Okay, okay, she'll stop trolling and look up at N.]
I've met my fair share of impatient folks before, some of them are good friends of mine actually! There's nothing wrong with having an assist with types like that. [She nods insistently before asking:] Are the two of you new here?
