[This may seem like an accidental broadcast, and in some ways it is, but the person on the other end with the mint-green hair appears to be rather intently focused on the SFC. He's pressing buttons, attempting to understand the device via trial and error. The video goes on and off a couple of times, before eventually coming on and staying on.
Whoever he is, he's every bit the new arrival in appearances, with that mess of hair sopping wet, and his white button down and black undershirt just as damp. Not that he's bothered any. Even the fact that his bangs are hanging in his eyes doesn't stop him from keeping his attention completely on the SFC. Something tall and furry is also wandering around behind him, poking it's snout over his shoulder from time to time to stare at what's in this teenager's hands with intense bright blue eyes.
Eventually text accompanies the video.]
Hello
[Before he can continue type more, though, the creature reaches over with a clawed paw and takes it away from him, making the view shift wildly, and it prompts the teen to speak, though he hardly seems angry.]
Zoroark, give that back. I wasn't finished.
[The creature doesn't speak, but it gives a look to N, and it turns it over so that the video is on his face completely. N's voice can still be heard speaking to him, though.]
Yes, I know, we'll find something to eat later. Taking my things away isn't going to make me go any faster.
[The Zoroark huffs, and as he goes to hand the SFC back the video feed turns off. Oops.]
[action: plaza]
[N has managed to find the towels on his own, but he might still seem a little lost, and he's got a hungry Zoroark that keeps pawing at him even as he tries to get his mass of hair dry. It's an interesting scene to watch, at least?]

action
[N's behavior does get a curious look from Nanaki, though. She can tell Zoroark wants food, but it looks almost like N is talking to a pokemon. Or a pokemon is talking to N, whatever.]
Um, if you don't mind my asking, can you understand him or something?
[Maybe he's telepathic or something. Mind-reading ahoy!]
action
I can understand Pokemon. I understand them better than humans.
[Blunt one, isn't he?]
You think it's strange, don't you? Don't worry, I'm used to that sort of reaction. It's not natural to be able to speak with them.
[Also putting words in her mouth. SUCH A NICE GUY.]
action
Secondly, I'd say it's more cool than weird.
[The understanding Pokemon part. You need some work on understanding humans, N.]
action
... cool?
[... very slowly.]
action
[Any animal-communication would be nice, but she is specifying Pokemon here since N did. She thinks it might offend Zoroark if she isn't specific there.]
action
I guess you're right. They are my friends.
action
action
[He's still on the fence as to how much he actually believes it, even if the evidence presented to him was pretty hard to deny.]
action
[Wait why is she arguing about Pokemon she's not even a pokebutt
She's pointing over in the direction of the lower district.]
My place is over there. I have towels too, if you want.
action
That's true.
[Don't expect a thanks for your offer, Nanaki. But he will nod. Hospitality is nice, even if he's all the awkward about it.]
action
Also her apartment is on the third floor, hope you don't mind stairs N.]
action
He doesn't, and Zoroark doesn't seem to mind either as he's following close behind N.
Both are quiet, though, his attention on taking in where they're going.]
action
Nanaki takes the bags into the kitchen and starts unpacking.]
It won't take long to cook. Do you two like spicy foods?
action
I'm not picky.
[He looks at Zoroark, who actually gives a shrug.]
He's never had anything that isn't grown in the wild, or treats made specifically for Pokemon.
action
[She busies herself with preparing and cooking while she talks with N.]
So, what do you think about living underwater in a giant bubble?
action
N on the other hand takes to the window, looking up at the bubble past the roof ledge of the apartment outside.]
It wasn't what I expected to happen to me.
[N that isn't an answer.]
action
What did you expect to happen?
action
I'm not really sure. It was the start of a new equation for me. I hadn't figured out what the end result would be by the time I arrived here.
[He pauses there, adding in after some silence:]
It's difficult, when you have to start over and change everything you thought you understood.
action
See, it's always been the opposite for me. Moving and starting over is something I've done a few times, and it was always exciting.
Is it your first time? Starting over, I mean.
action
Yes, it is. I've never been on my own before.
[That seems to get Zoroark's attention, as the Pokemon looks up, and N lets out a soft 'heh'.]
Alright, I'm not completely alone.
action
Wow, really? That's kind of surprising, you look older than me.
action
[Yes, he actually has to think about it.]
I'll be eighteen in the summer.
action
action
[Well that was cryptic.]
I only remember the season.
action
Topic change ahoy!]
So, it looks like you and Zoroark are good friends. Have you known each other a long time?
