[It's around sunset when the video starts. There's the sound of the ocean and the wind in the background, but shortly after the sound of glass thumping hard against a table interrupts. With how the screen shakes slightly, it might be apparent that the communicator has been placed on said table.

What follows are a few grumbles and a view of Axel on the side as he folds his arms and rests his head on them.]

So, you know what I just found out a couple minutes ago?

[Wait a sec. He turns away for a second to sneeze. And it's a pretty adorable sneeze too.]

Heh. Someone must be talking about me. But, no, that's not what I found out. What I found out is that this stuff-

[Axel reaches around the SFC and picks up a nearly finished bottle of beer. Yeah, it's just one and he's already pretty pink in the face. So what? Mind your own damn business.]

-this stuff is ridiculous. Who comes up with these things anyway? I mean, why would you ever think about it? What's even the point?

[Resting his chin on his hand in thought, Axel slumps, stares at the bottle, then shrugs. Maybe he shouldn't think too much about it. It tasted ok and it feels warm, so those are two Very Good Things for Axel's.]

Well, I guess it's a nice way to pass the time while the stupid dome implodes on itself, right?

[Once Roxas sets the bottle down he grabs it back and drinks the rest, leaning against Roxas as he does.]

Mm. Do we even have any left?

[...maybe he should move if Axel is going to be getting this close while he's drunk. Maybe.]

Probably not. If- we get back into the bubble, maybe we can try making some.

You think so? Huh... y'know, I never thought about making it before. Can't be that hard, right?

[Still leaning against Roxas. Yup.]

Right. I'm sure we can figure it out.

[As nice as this is... Roxas reluctantly starts to pull Axel's arm off his shoulders.]

[He can feel that and promptly gives Roxas a questioning look. Yeah, he's going to lean a little harder against you now.]

Ah, c'mon. What's the hurry? I was just gettin' comfortable.

[Okay, maybe we're not moving.]

Um... Are you sure this is okay? For- friends, I mean...

Man, you've still got a lot to learn about friends, don't you?

[Axel sighs and then after a bit more shifting he figures out a way to try and rest his head on Roxas' lap.]

This is totally normal for buddies.

I- I dunno. It's a little confusing.

[Maybe some friends do this, but it seems pretty borderline to him.]

Mmn. Don't think about it too much.

[He'll just try to make himself a little more comfortable here.]

It doesn't make my head hurt.

[...stroking Axel's hair a bit because he really can't help himself.]

You feeling okay?

[Nice a soft, right? ... He remembers how this used to feel when Roxas did it, and it still feels as nice as it did before. Shutting his eyes, Axel groans softly.]

Had better days, to be honest.

What're you drinking for anyway? I thought you didn't like it.

I don't. It's gross.

[... But it feels warm. And it makes some things amusing.]

Just... thought I'd try it anyway.

[Just quietly running his fingers through Axel's hair.]

... It's not- because of me, is it?

[He's silent, just for a beat, then he softly shakes his head with his soft response.]

Nah. ... No, no, no. Why would you think that?

...'cause I'm mad at you.

We do dumb things when we're mad at each other.

Well, you can be mad at me all you want. I told you I'm fine with that, didn't I?

[Ow. His head feels a little heavy.]

It's not like it's nothing... new, right?

Well- I don't like being mad at you. I wanna just- stop.

You don't have to force yourself to not be mad at me.

I guess it wouldn't work.

But maybe you could- answer me something?

[Roxas's hand stills, resting near Axel's neck.]

When we... When you said you wanted to try, did you- really think I might make you feel that?

[Axel's silent as he thinks on this, and since he's drunk it might take a little while for him to actually respond. But when he does he turns over so he'll be resting on his back and facing upward. He's still got his eyes shut though.]

Make me feel what? Like... love?

[When Sora had casually described it as love, it hadn't sounded at all unusual. But coming from Axel, it almost makes him choke. Love... Is what he feels really on that level yet?]

S-something like that, yeah.

[He hums softly. Had he really thought that way?]

... Maybe a little.
