There's a brief blur of Axel's face which doesn't stay long enough for anyone to really get a good look at him, but just in case, he's definitely got a split lip and a gauze bandage over his right temple. There's some more shifting when his door opens and one of the happiest looking nurses in the world comes in to check on him.]

[He gets up to make a portal back home.]

I'll be back in a little while.

[But not instantaneously since he doesn't want to bring the babies back through the portal even if they're still small enough he could stuff them all in his coat somewhere.

He returns not too much later with Popcorn and Isa nestled sleepily in his hair and Sunset riding on his shoulder. Once he sits back down, the little red chocobo flutters down off his shoulder to land clumsily on the bed, cheeping in concern.]

I'll be here. Not like I can go anywhere else.

[Axel waits patiently and quietly in his bed for Roxas to come back and when he does he sits up slowly in time for Sunset to flutter down and land beside him. With a smirk, he reaches out to stroke the chick on the top of the head.]

Hey, little guy. What's all the cheeping about, huh?

[Action]

Guess he was worried.

Either that or he missed your hair.

[Action]

Silly.

[He pets him a little more, but it kind of sucks having to reach around with his left hand to do so, so after a while he has to stop.]

What're you talking about? They have your hair to get lost in just fine.

I dunno. Yours is longer.

[Sunset starts to clamber over Axel to follow that hand, but seems to get sleepy halfway through and just settles down in his lap.]

[He rolls his eyes then after scooping up the chocobo on his lap he flops backward then sets it on the pillow beside his head instead. It's ok, mommy's here.]

Looks like someone's tired.

[... Said as he's practically half asleep himself]

It is pretty late.

[Roxas settles back in his chair, careful not to disturb the birds nesting on his head.]

You should probably get some sleep, too.

[... That sounds like a good idea. It's not even late, but all he wants to do is get some shut eye.]

Mm... yeah.

[He's already drifting off as we speak.]

[Roxas smiles a little at that. He shifts again, trying to get comfortable in the chair, and closes his eyes.

He's probably going to feel stiff in the morning, but he doesn't think he'd be able to sleep much staying at the apartment while Axel's here.]
