[Well, that certainly is Darkleer appearing on the screen today. You would think him of all people would want to avoid showing up on the network with the thought bubbles running about. His is even right behind him, floating serenely. It's not shaped like some others may be. In fact, it's square, relatively flat, and almost seems like a window of some sort. Huh.]

[It soon becomes obvious that he's not worried because the thought window is certainly a busy little bee. Even as he pulls away from the SFC he's placed on his workbench, it's already flashing with images, all crowded against one another. Wires, motors, gears and pistons and mathematical equations of all sorts. They're stringed and pulled together, solving more than just one invention, more than one idea that he is mulling over and trying to piece together in his mind. Schematics. It's all schematics.]

[Settling himself, Darkleer adjusts his shades- still the same cheap ones he's been wearing since he gave the Psiioniic his original pair- and begins to quietly speak.]

I normally do not indulge in video, but something seems that for some reason, the buttons on my communicator have yet to work. It is going to take a while to fix them properly, so I decided that I would simply make a post now.

[In one corner of the thought window, another schematic is being made, the lines in blue. It looks like a large bird of some kind, but it disappears from view quick enough.]

The last time I contacted the network, it was to discuss a way of learning more about this place. In one of the conversations I had, we discussed about the invasions Vatheon is occasionally prone to. It was agreed that multiple safehouses set across the bubble.

[If one is looking closely, behind all the ideas and inventions and schematics that is in Darkleer's mind, they could possibly see a map of Vatheon.]

When I say 'multiple' safehouses, I do not mean every second building, nor do I mean a fortified fortress. But it would be ill advised to have merely one safehouse. What if someone is on an entirely different level of the city, after all?

I would like input on this idea.

After recent events that have been occurring, particularly to individuals that I know, I would like to offer some assistance. While normally the residents of this city are more or less... peaceful, I have noticed an increase, however brief, in dangerous individuals coming to the city. Their targets are not always able to use their communication device to contact help.

I'd like to discuss a solution I have in mind. Preferably with those in charge, but I believe the rest of you should have your own say as well.

[Darkleer pause for a moment, a bit awkward before clearing his throat.]

[The image of the mechanical bug from before is made a bit more obvious amongst everything else, the wings color-coded, strangely enough, in orange as more details are put into them, constantly being rearranged and configured to Darkleer's liking.]

[ Feferi isn't shy at all about the big, bubble-like ball seated in her lap, nor any of the images of doom and gloom that are seen in it around her arm as she holds it in place, her other hand holding her device out. She seems fairly comfortable, leaning her weight on it, even as vague imagery of vast white tentacles busting through the bubble form inside, the edges flecked by red and blue-- sparks or glitter or something. Fish drift in and out, misplaced among the imaginings of mass chaos and panic. ]

Well that makes sense. Maybe if you thought about how long it should take to get to a safehouse and spaced them that way? That makes sense to me!

[ Her own mental map of Vatheon is much hazier and dotted with Alternian structures and landscaping in places she knows exist but has failed to visit yet. ]

[Summoner's bubble seems completely uncovered but he seems to quickly direct his camera away once he realizes what Darkleer is saying. The bubble, if you caught a glimpse of it, looked like a glass orb, almost like a TV screen with a few cracks and shots in it, though Summoner only wishes those were from him. They had already been there. But nothing appears in it before he turns his camera away. But you do suddenly hear a rather interesting sound begin to pup up here and there.]

Wait... level, as in... are you suggesting- [Points down, his wings drooping slightly.]

Down... there?

[Was Darkleer suggesting that? Or is that some irrational fear popping up. After all... there were dungeons there... in Alternia. Horrible, underground dungeons... Ugh, not getting into it.]

[Yukari's thought bubble brightens with curiosity when the SFC turns on, to video mode because that's just what she's used to.]

Does your solution have something to do with these safehouses you mentioned?

[Her life is suffering, she has to talk to Darkleer. She keeps RIGHT UP by the SFC so that her thought bubble isn't visible. Which is... probably very good, considering.]

The clinic and the building next to it currently have barriers in place. If you choose other buildings, I am capable of creating more.

[Equius points to his own thought bubble, which shows ever-changing, ever-moving blueprints. They're not as elaborate or complicated as Darkleer's, but they're certainly similiar.]

[Except for right now, while his back is turned, it's showing a little roboEquius looking at a taller roboDarkleer with the flat shine of hero worship in his eyes. How does a blueprint even portray that, anyway?]

Hi Darkleer! [And the fluffy thought-bubble floating behind her shows a drawing-like rendition of Nepeta pouncetackling Darkleer and clinging to him.]

Hmmm, purrhaps we could find lots of caves to make safe just in case we need them?? [And there goes a drawing of Nepeta's hive back home, with her rolling around like a kitten on its floor.]

[When Karkat replies, the SFC is held at a distance that is probably uncomfortably close to his face. It's filtered, furthermore, and occasionally his hand swats off at the side in an effort to shove his bubble away.]

This is going to suck the mother grub's own decaying nook. [--issues the voice of his thoughts from off screen.]

Look, I'm going to keep this short because having an over chummy little feelings jam on our true thoughts and feelings about each other is not something I'm looking to do. The safe house idea? Good. Do it. Multiple ones. Tell me later how it goes.
