[Someone finally caved and found an apartment. Holding the SFC, Tidus smiles a little distractedly.]

Check out my new place. I was getting bored with sleeping wherever I was. I don’t feel any different or more mature than I did before, at least not just in one day. I don’t think I would have felt any different if I hadn’t ended up in Spira…but I think that’s normal. Maybe. I’m not sure if it even counts.

[He shrugs.] It's an excuse to eat cake, so whatever.

[And he eats that piece of cake, talking between bites.]

What are your favorite things to do when you have time on your hands?

Hmm, well, I am afraid I gave it to a young friend of mine. I can show you something else, however. It is a spider-like construct.

[That he built for... someone pretty much genetically like the other friend. Oops.]

It is not far off.

It does indeed. The person I made it for would not have had it be any less accurate.

[The video soon clicks on and there's only a glimpse of Darkleer before he turns it towards the forest. It appears he's near the buildings up on the island. There's a light buzzing in the noise that quickly quiets, and then rustling from the forest. A large yet elegantly designed mechanical spider appears from the vegetation, its cerulean colored eyes shining in the light.]

[This was little like the bulkier, mismatched machina back on Spira, built more for practicality than aesthetic appeal. He blinks slowly in awe.]

That's pretty amazing.

Thank you very much. [He gets closer to it so the camera can have a better shot. When he's near, he lays his hand against the cold and wet metal. Rainy days aren't the best working conditions, but he lives with it.] I like building things based off of animals the most. They offer the most variety.

That definitely gives you a lot of options. It's incredible that the move like the animals they're based off of too. Have you ever made a dolphin?

No, but I have built a seagoat for one of my... sons.

Would a dolphin be something that interests you?

Yes, we all are. However, I am from a different period in our world's time than they are. If it was not for this place, we would never have met, I imagine.

I would consider myself grateful. I had little else waiting for me back on my homeworld, after all. Here, there are chances to do a great many things.

I suppose I would, more for a few select individuals than the city itself.
