In light a your obvvious ignorance, and the admittedly pleasant surroundins, I'll be generous. You havve half an hour to explain wwhere I am, howw I got here, and wwhy, and to showw me the exit. It's the ocean, I can make my owwn wway from there.

[He notes it, but it's unimportant. Royalty is only the first to be culled when he brings a new species under Her Imperial Condescension's rule. He's had a few queens as his slaves.

He appreciates her politeness and willingness to help, which he sees as acknowledging his superiority, and inclines his head very slightly.]

Wwhat manner a species are you?

I am a Hylian. As far as I have been able to determine here in Vatheon, a species known as "elves" is very similar to my own.

[She pulls out her SFC, looking him up. Sure enough, there he is. With his name, she can send him the posts easily enough - a copy of the slightly outdated info brochure as well as a link to discussions on current events. And then she sees the lovely, oh so polite post he made to introduce himself with. WELL.]

The first post covers the basics of this city. The second is a discussion we are currently having. There may be trouble in the near future, and we would like to be prepared for it.

[He doesn't bother to read the documents now - he can peruse them at his leisure later on. He nods and confirms that he's received them, then puts his SFC away again]

[Well, Gamzee goes around saying "fuck" and he's perfectly nice. Karkat's just as rude as that too, and though she hasn't actually spoken to him he's proven to be helpful to the city as a whole. Best to keep being polite to this new troll as well, even if he sounds like a total asshole rude in his posts.]

Trouble that would involve the medical clinic becoming suddenly lively. There have been attacks on this city in the past, so I can only guess that is what we may be facing shortly.

The city is under seige? [He actually perks up at this, his fins pricking up and fanning out just a little with interest] By wwhat?

[He seems excited. That isn't a good sign.]

We don't know yet, we only know that something is coming. Usually sea creatures of some sort. There was a kraken in the past.

[Wait. He looks kind of like a sea creature himself... chances are he would be well equipped to fight whatever might come their way. If not, at least he might have information.]

Anything that we find will probably be kept public. It does us no good to keep each other in the dark, whoever or whatever runs this city does enough of that for all of us.

Wwell, then the city is fortunate that I'vve arrivved. I'll look for any alerts about dangerous sea creatures. So long as I'm trapped here, I suppose I can deal wwith any threats that appear.

You likely don't knoww, but I'm a leader of armies. My expertise is not just in killin' monsters a the deep, but in battle a all sorts. If defendin' this city is wworth my wwhile for noww, I'll make sure it's kept safe.

[She dips her head to him slightly. Really, she'd been thinking about how desperately they needed someone like this - someone to organize a defense with military expertise. She doesn't say it though, since she has no idea yet if people would actually follow him.]

We are fortunate, then. Not many people here have military expertise.

Really? [This has potential, actually.] Wwell, if I'm the rankin' officer amongst civvillians, I'll havve to see if there's anyone a wworth I can take on.

[Ranking officer... Zelda is starting to feel slightly uncomfortable, here. This isn't a military regime.]
