Um. Hi, Vatheon! I wanted to ask, since it's been on my mind a couple times since I got here. Do you guys have any spirits in your worlds? Like, that embody the elements and stuff? Back where I'm from, we have Summon Spirits--eight primary for the main elements, two that are way older, a third for the Kharlan Tree that supplies the world with mana, and [She falters just the tiniest bit, but it's over in less than a second.] a newer one that sees the hearts of people. Anyone have something similar? Or even something different! I guess you could also say this is also about how magic works in your worlds, if you don't have spirits like we do.

[Oh, it's the Summoner. Nobody informed Yuan that she's awake now. Then again, it's not really any of his business, is it? He made the 'truce' with Lloyd, but that doesn't mean he's involved with all their lives now. ... Should he say something to her? He's not sure if he's expected to do that, but the notion of a 'newer Summon Spirit who sees the hearts of people' has caught his interest. He hasn't heard of any such Spirit.

He can't start this conversation on the public network, though. Mithos might be watching. It's a problem that's easily remedied by tinkering with his communicator to lock the conversation. Still, he has a feeling that this... is going to be awkward. He's not sure if anyone even bothered to inform Sheena (and Colette) that he's around.]

When did you get here?

[Nothing really all that accusatory going on, here. Honestly, she's just curious. She's seen everything, and while she's not really all that sure what to make of him, she understands the gist of why he did what he did--or, it's that way from when she's from. Does she necessarily like him? No. But she's not really planning on starting anything, much like she's not planning on starting anything with Mithos.]

So what's the last thing you remember before coming to Vatheon?

No, I'm afraid not. We have the souls of the dead, and apparently the children Vatheon has brought have something to do with... classes and aspects? Thief of Light, Heir of Void, things like that, but I am rather oblivious to such things.

We don't have magic- as far as I know- but we do have psionic trolls.

Wow, really? That sounds pretty neat. We don't really have "classes" in that way; people who do different jobs because of how they're trained and stuff, like magic swordsmen versus swordsmen, though, we have, but not with "aspects". But I guess you could call your "aspects" your elements in a way, to compare them.

Could you tell me about that? I don't think we have anything like that.

I'm not sure if it's quite like that. Again, however, I am not the expert in such matters. You would be better speaking with my descendent, Equius.

The psionic trolls? Certainly. A psionic troll has a mutation in their brain which grants them abilities. The lower you are on the hemospectrum- in other words, the warmer your bloodcolor is, the higher your chances are of being hatched with psionics. It's slightly rarer in higherbloods like bluebloods, but not untold of. Seadwellers have none at all.

They vary greatly. Some can lift objects with their mind a la telekinesis, while others can create energy blasts. Some can read or control minds. Things such as that.

Hmm, I think I will! It's really interesting to know that there are worlds without magic. I mean, not everyone has access to it on Aselia, mainly elves and those with elven blood, but there are other ways around it, you could say.

But blood colour? How do you mean?

Psionic abilities sound pretty neat, but controlling minds? Iiii'm not too sure about that one.

Yep! Efreet, Celcius, Shadow, Luna and Aska, Undine, Volt, Gnome, Sylph, Maxwell, Origin, Martel, and Verius. Verius is a new spirit.

[She forces a laugh, but it comes out lighter than she expects it.]

He used to be Corrine.

And the Spirit of the Kharlan Tree kind of is Martel. And a lot of other people. I don't have a pact with her, though. With Corrine...

[Her grin dims to a smile, but she shrugs a shoulder.]

He was reborn as Verius, the Summon Spirit of Heart, who resides in the temple outside Iselia.

...Probably not, since this is Vatheon. Oh! That's an interesting response. Sheena's a little more hung up on the later part of that (not the wink--she's trying to ignore that part because oh, uh--but what he said about "coming back" with the ability), but she's not going to ignore the rest.]

That kind of sounds like my world. Summoning was thought to be lost since no one had formed a pact with the Summon Spirits for four thousand years. How does magic work for you?
