This place is very strange.

It's amusing enough, but I wonder—are people's dreams here always broadcasted like that? It makes for an interesting first impression, to bare the psyche unwittingly like that. It's almost... intimate. Right? Isn't it? Does it feel violating, for someone having seen your dreams?

Hmm, well—that's something to consider...

I don't think our being unusual is a good or bad thing, but I wonder if it's necessary? Perhaps there's some common factor between each Child that somehow makes them most suited to piloting, and that's what makes them unusual.

I'd say it varies from Child to Child.

Maybe, though it beats me to figure out what that is. I suppose that's why the Marduk Institute is necessary.

I guess that's just something to think about. Something that unites the chosen. As just people, there are many inevitable links such as our age and biological constitution that ties us together, but it probably goes deeper than that.
