Video: Public Service Princess
It seems as if the arrival cycle is over now. Allow me to extend a belated welcome to everyone who was pulled into Vatheon this past cycle. My name is Zelda, and I work with the Welcoming Committee here. Please drop by if you have any questions about our current situation as foreigners in the city. You are also free to ask me here, though there are some topics I would prefer to not discuss over the network.
I would also like to encourage new arrivals that are capable of fighting to look into joining the Defense Force. While things are generally peaceful here, there are some dangerous situations from time to time. Death is not permanent in this place, but it is still rather traumatic and we should do our best to avoid having it happen. If you are interested, please get in touch with Serph or Ky Kiske.

[Out with the greased cookie sheet!]
With this sort of gingerbread cookie we just put dollops on the sheet here. If these go well, we can try to make the harder cookies and shape them.
[Action]
[She let out a huff]
This is starting to get really confusing!
Buuuttt...we'll just need to get the cookie cutters right?
[And then she goes around to look for them!]
Oh cookie cutters, oh cookie cutters, where are you~♪
[Action]
[Oh, does Bianca want to make shapes out of these? They're soft gingerbread, so the shapes won't be as crisp as they could be, but there's no harm in it. Zelda takes out the cookie cutters and some wax paper, then starts to roll out the dough. She offers the wax paper and another roller to Bianca.]
We should flatten it out a bit first if you want to make shapes.
[Action]
[Nope, still not getting it here but anyway...!
Once Bianca finds the cookie cutters, she quickly places it next to the pan and starts getting out the dough. She's getting pumped up!]
Okay then, let's do this!
[And off she goes taking some dough out and when she did...]
...We forgot the roller didn't we?
[Action]
It's fine, I have rollers. See?
[Zelda dips her head to the rollers again, starting to roll out her own piece. One thing that can be said for the princess: she definitely plans ahead.]
[Action]
Oh, that's great! We don't have to get our hands dirty! I was worried if we might have to do that! And we don't want any germs on the cookies either!
[With that, Bianca quickly grabbed one of the rollers before looking back at Zelda. Hm...maybe if she can roll at the same time as the girl besides her...]
We bake bake bake bake bake bake bake from early morn to night~♪
We bake bake bake bake bake bake bake up everything in sight~♪
[Action]
[Zelda is too, but she doesn't make up random little tunes like that. once she has the dough down to an appropriate thickness, she starts cutting out shapes with a knife. It's likely that Bianca will want to use the cookie cutters, and Zelda prefers to make her own shapes regardless.]
[Action]
Whistle while you work~♪
[She can't whistle all that well and she's not going to attempt it either! Instead, she'll just hum a merry little tune as she continues to roll the dough. Once she's done, the girl quickly got the cookie cutter for gingerbread man.
Hm...]
You know, looking at them...it's a little weird. I don't want to eat something that looks like a human! ...Ah, that would kind of make me a cannibal wouldn't it?
[She lets out a nervous laugh]
[Action]
[Without a Song of Cooking, how can she be expected to sing while she works?]
I actually feel that way too! It's why I've been cutting my own shapes. I think I might have some cookie cutters for Valentine's around if you'd like to do hearts instead? The trees and the stars aren't bad shapes, either.
[Action]
Here, you can sing along with me! Ahem!
Just whistle while you work, so hum a merry tune, it won't take long when there's a song to help you set the pace~
[Hm...]
I think I might do stars instead! It's a bit too early for Valentine's Day so that would be better!
...But I guess I should start thinking about making Valentine's Day chocolates soon...
[Action]
Just whistle while you work, so hum a merry tune, it won't take long when there's a song to help you set the pace.
[She pauses at the mention of chocolates.]
Oh, dear. Valentine's chocolates, how could I forget? My house is probably going to smell like chocolates for the next month...
[Action]
Just whistle while you work, so hum a merry tune, it won't take long when there's a song to help you set the pace~
[She sang once more as she got out the star shaped cookie cutter on the dough]
Eh? You're going to bake them too? Hm...then I wonder would it be too early to start baking them now...
[Action]
[The female half, of course. Though this year... she should make something for Guy, shouldn't she? The thought is pretty embarrassing, and Zelda fumbles a bit with her knife before recovering.]
[Action]
The other half would be sad and I don't like that!
[Of course, Bianca's pretty oblivious to the fact that he's a flirt. But she does notice something else...]
Hm? Are you okay, Zelda?
[Action]
[Not going to talk about Zelos' philandering with Bianca, thank you.]
Ah, I just... I have never been in a relationship before, but this year I am. I am not sure what to get my partner...
[Action]
[And let's not get into the idea of what he might put in those chocolates too
But just then, Bianca instantly perked up and leaned over to her.]
Oh? Who is this person you like? Either way, of course you should get them chocolates! It's only fair and I'm sure they'll see that they really like you back too!
[Action]
[Action]
And it takes a lot of effort to make chocolate so...I think he'll understand how you feel about him through what you made! I think that's adequate enough!
[Ah how nice it must feel to be in love~]
[Action]
[Guy already gets her so many little gifts! Flowers, that lovely music box he made, adorable notes he leaves her on her doorstep... a pragmatic princess like Zelda can't compete with that level of romance!]
[Action]
[She gave her a small pat on the back, no need to worry so much Zelda!]
I think he'll be just happy with chocolates from you!
[Of course, she doesn't know the little gifts he gave her so....]
[Action]
This should be enough for a first batch, don't you think? Here, I'll get the ones you've made too.
[Coming through!]
[Action]
As she watches Zelda putting her cookies, she let out a smile]
You can take your time, I'm in no hurry to get it all done so quickly!
[And if Valentine's Day was around the corner, she would have suggested that she finished her cookies first]
It would ruin the fun and magic right?
[Action]
[Zelda's eager for a subject change, let her have it. When it comes to romance she's on the emotional level of a twelve year old.]
Or maybe some hot chocolate?
[In her mind, that's changing the subject right back, but she won't be vocalizing that.]
[Action]
I want to decorate them too but we shouldn't rush it or they might get burnt! And we want to them to bake slowly too!
[And Bianca can tell based on the sudden shift in tone and demeanor. Oh well, if she doesn't want to talk about it, she won't. She looked back at her own cookies before back at the stove once more.]
I'm good with either one! I never had a lot of tea before but I'm happy with which one you choose!
[Action]
[Oh, Bianca doesn't have tea that often? That settles it, then!]
Chai should go fairly well with gingerbread cookies. I'll get started on it, you go ahead and finish cutting yours out.
[Out with the teapot, back in the comfort zone.]
