It seems as if the arrival cycle is over now. Allow me to extend a belated welcome to everyone who was pulled into Vatheon this past cycle. My name is Zelda, and I work with the Welcoming Committee here. Please drop by if you have any questions about our current situation as foreigners in the city. I would also like to encourage new arrivals that are capable of fighting to look into joining the Defense Force. While things are generally peaceful here, there are some dangerous situations from time to time. Death is not permanent in this place, but it is still rather traumatic and we should do our best to avoid having it happen. If you are interested, please get in touch with Serph or Ky Kiske.

I hope it does much to alleviate the confusion people feel upon arriving! I only edited them myself - the originals were created before I arrived in the city and maintained by Minato while he was still here. Having the cooperation of the Station Master helps immensely with distribution.

I suppose what I want to ask is how I can help out. Maybe I should contact Serph and join the Defense force. I think I have some abilities and stuff I could offer to help out. I want to help out now that my house here is all taken care of.

The Defense Force is certainly a good place to start! We conduct patrols around the city to keep an eye out for anything dangerous or particularly odd. You have combat experience?

I use my abilities to save and protect people. even using them against anyone and anything who might threaten who I'm trying to protect. Through courage, I swore an oath. If I can't protect a new home, I'd never be able to face my friends again.... if I ever saw them again.

I also know some basic rescue procedures, too. I learned those from my friends as well. evacuating people from dangerous areas, and I know a little first aid.

Of course. May I ask what information was missing? There are some subjects I did not go into detail on since I was not certain the locals would print and distribute the brochures if I did, but I do believe I covered the Defense Force... ah, I may not have spoken about death...

I am doing well, thank you. I hope that things have been going smoothly for you, as well. We do see each other far less frequently since you have moved from your old hive, don't we?

I will be certain to do so. It seems a little counter-intuitive, but the scientists here generally pull land dwellers in for their experiments rather than sea dwellers. The amount of people here that can function properly underwater is low. Still, I should have enough tunics for nearly the entire city at this point. I plan to distribute them relatively soon.
