Video: Public Service Princess
It seems as if the arrival cycle is over now. Allow me to extend a belated welcome to everyone who was pulled into Vatheon this past cycle. My name is Zelda, and I work with the Welcoming Committee here. Please drop by if you have any questions about our current situation as foreigners in the city. You are also free to ask me here, though there are some topics I would prefer to not discuss over the network.
I would also like to encourage new arrivals that are capable of fighting to look into joining the Defense Force. While things are generally peaceful here, there are some dangerous situations from time to time. Death is not permanent in this place, but it is still rather traumatic and we should do our best to avoid having it happen. If you are interested, please get in touch with Serph or Ky Kiske.

[Action]
Good afternoon, Bianca.
[Action]
G-Good afternoon to you too, Z-Zelda...
Is everything...ready?
[Action]
[Goodness, she looks like she just ran a marathon.]
Sit down a moment and catch your breath.
[Action]
[Breath in and out...slowly like that]
I think I need to be in shape or else if something happens, I'll be too tried to do anything else! T-That...I think...I'm starting to run out of energy!
[Action]
[Bianca does have a point, after all. Even if she should stick back in a combat situation, she should at least be able to run without getting tired out.]
[Action]
No, I don't have any training like that at all! I usually let Emboar or Stoutland do all the work back home! Sometimes I do that too but...I really shouldn't depend on them should I?
[Pause] I never realized how easy I had it until now.
[Action]
[Zelda moves to take the ingredients that Bianca has brought and organize them as well.]
[Action]
Uh...that's a good question, how long can I run?
[/derp]
[Action]
[Everything laid out, Zelda starts pinning her hair into a bun at the nape of her neck. No one wants cookies with hair in them, after all.]
[Action]
[can you hear the small whine coming from her? as much as she doesn't want to, she knows she has to.]
I'll have to get up super early and do all that running huh? [sigh] I'll do it but I think I won't like it.
[With that, Bianca looks at Zelda before looking at the ingredients] So where do we start?
[Action]
[As Sheik, that is. It would be quite undignified if anyone saw a princess running around at top speed!]
It's important to follow the recipe if you aren't familiar with baking. I have enough here for a few batches.
[Zelda takes out a notecard, moving so she can hand it to Bianca.]
You'll find that most recipes call for mixing the dry ingredients first. You can even do it in advance if you like, but you should try to bake things fairly quickly once you add the wet ingredients.
[Action]
[But she will do it! As she looked at the notecard, she stared down at the ingredients on more. She let out a huff and placed her hat somewhere off to the side. This is going to be hard work!]
So...we'll need to mix up all the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar all together first? And then add in all the other stuff afterwards?
[Giggle]
That sounds easy enough! Quick, let's preheat the oven!
[Action]
[She nods to one of the little set ups. Zelda finds it helpful to watch someone else when she's trying to learn how to do something, so she thought Bianca might feel the same. Once she's certain that the girl is looking, she starts sifting the dry ingredients together.]
[Action]
But there was that slight hesitation from the girl. As she started mixing the dry ingredients, she looked back at Zelda and back at the bowl. Man, baking is tough!]
[Action]
Cracking eggs can be hard, though.]
[Action]
Okay, I can do it! Cracking eggs here we go! We just do this a-...ahhhh!
[...Except cracking them didn't turn out as well as they hoped. Looks like there's a lot of egg shells in there]
...It broke.
[Action]
It took me awhile to get the hang of, too. I started cracking my eggs into separate bowls so that it was easier to pick out the shell. Would you like one?
[Action]
[As Bianca got one of them, she stares at the substance in front of her. One...two...three...how many shells were in this thing?]
Um...how do you tell the different between the flour and egg shells?
[Action]
I sift around a bit until I feel something a bit solid with the tweezers. You haven't mixed it yet, so they're all at the surface.
[Action]
I think I'm making it worse by doing this...
[And then she looks around the bowl and...]
Oh yay, I found one! Ha, take that mister eggshell! [And she seems so proud of it!] Now I just...need to find a couple more.
[Action]
[She'll wait for Bianca to feel like she has most of the eggshell out before continuing to mix the ingredients. The girl will just feel rushed if she keeps proceeding now, after all!]
[Action]
It took her a while but she did manage to pick up four more pieces until she started shaking the bowl some more.]
Hmm...what do you think? Do you think I got all of them out?
[Action]
[Zelda reaches out to get one last little piece.]
There you are. Ready to continue?
[Action]
[Let's do this because baking is going to be taken to the EXTREME!!1!! Except not really]
Let's continue this lesson! What should we do now?
[Action]
[Zelda demonstrates, picking up a spoon to start mixing the ingredients together. Unfortunately, mixing is not something she can display slowly.]
