Hello, Vatheon. I apologize for the sudden announcement; especially since there are likely many newcomers around at the moment, but I ask you all to bear with me. There is reason to believe that there may be something dangerous happening in the city sometime soon. This post is for organizational purposes. I would ask that all speculation and general information still be directed to this post.

Firstly, all of you that are comfortable with your combat skills, I urge you to report to Minato Arisato of the defense force. A disorganized defense is extremely ineffective. Those of you who feel that they cannot fight, please evacuate to the area around the clinic in the event of an attack.

[Zelda holds up a neatly drawn map with optimal routes to the clinic laid out from various locations in Vatheon.]

The clinic and the building right next to it will both have a protective barrier around them. Everyone currently registered as being a foreigner will have no difficulty passing. Do not worry overly much about the registration process, it is automatic. The barrier is of a neutral element and will not cause harm to anyone who takes shelter within it.

Which brings us to the second point. Anyone who considers their primary skill to be either healing - magical or traditional - or barrier magic, please report to myself or Doctor Muraki. I may need help maintaining the barrier, and we are low on healers.

Finally, anyone who considers themselves to be skilled with technology and who has some free time, please contact me privately.

If you have actual medical knowledge, your presence in the clinic would be greatly appreciated. Only Doctor Muraki and Medic are actually trained for that sort of thing currently, the rest of us simply know healing magic.

I used to serve as a doctor within a war-zone before I switched professions, back home. I'm certain I could resume being a doctor once again should the need arise.

[Not quite the job he cared for these days, but it was better than doing nothing and going stir crazy over being bored due to doing nothing. Better really for Vatheon as well, in more than one way really.]

Perhaps I could act as an escort for your healers in the field and then offer medical aid should the need for it arise out there. I could also act as escort for the wounded to the clinic if need be.

[A pause and a small smile.]

You see, my current profession back home was to transport things for people from one point to another, no matter who or what might attempt to interfere and attempt to prevent me from reaching my destination with the thing I was hired to transport. If they refused to cease their attempts to interfere, I dealt with them in a rather... permanent fashion that most seemed to dislike. Still, it was entertaining work that I enjoyed.

[And yes, Zelda... he just totally confessed to killing whatever gets the way of his work and that he actually enjoys the fighting.]

If you would be comfortable helping the wounded to and from the clinic, that sort of role is invaluable. I ask that you try to incapacitate the enemy rather than kill them if they are sentient, though - we may need to question them later.

[He's quite used to such reactions. He does however give a slight nod in response to the request though. He's fully capable of incapacitating an enemy if it's sentient, and understands the obvious need to question said enemy about why they attacked and who put them up to such things.]
