Thirty-Fourth Flare - Video - Birds, Birds, Everywhere
So yeah, turns out Myde was pregnant.
[Way to open up a feed, Lea. But he's grinning into the camera, hair tied back and in a too large t-shirt and pants. He's also covered in soft downy feathers of all sorts of colors; it isn't easy calming down the flock when they're so excitable. As he adjusts the camera, it's obvious he's near some rather simple looking stables. Anyone who's worked or visited the Phoenix Nest would recognize them as being behind there.]
[When he's done fiddling with the view, the camera is focused on a group of Chocobos. There's Myde, one of the adults and a beautiful soft brown with specks of white on her chest, looking tired but calmly pleased. Hovering near her is Alex, a bright red who couldn't look more proud as he nuzzles Myde.]
[And around them?]
Yep, looks like the second generation of Vatheon-born Chocochicks are here! Heh, aren't they adorable? And new colors, too, look!
[Lea looks just as proud as Alex as he sits down amongst the chirping, energetic chicks. There are seven in all, and they happily flop and flutter onto the teen. There are a few very pale gray chicks, and another couple which are a much darker shade, a strange kind of lavender-gray. There are a pair of soft colored yellows and one lone red. Lea handles all of them carefully and with utter adoration.]
I'll cut everyone the same deal Stein did whenever his chocobos laid eggs. If you think you can give one of these sweethearts a good home, and you can tell me so, I'll let you keep one. Myde and Alex won't mind.
Mistreat them and I will wreck your life.
[He says it with a cheery grin that is 100% brutal honesty.]
((ooc: Yep! Lea is giving away chocobo chicks. Just have your character comment and Lea will talk it out. I'll keep track of who has which chick here in the ooc.
2 yellow: Demyx, Squall Leonhart
3 white : Motochika, Aradia Megido
2 black : Jacob
1 red : Dave Strider))

I can provide one with a good home.

[Some of the chicks squirm and wiggle about towards the camera in curiosity towards the voice, and Lea lazily ushers them away from the SFC.]
Are you used to taking care of animals then?

[Like any self-respecting samurai.]
A chick would not be without company in my home. A member of my household raised a blue-feathered chocobo in the past year.

[Don't mind him, just staring at the blackish looking ones.
No, Silver, you can't have one even if you are making progress with your pokemon.] Can they all spit fire balls?Video

Does the red one have a home yet? [He covers his nose with a tissue as he sneezes.] How do you take care of them and what do they eat? [Pauses.] From a scale from one being easy as pie to ten, meaning what the fuck did I get myself into, how hard are they to take care of?
Because I am not going to fuck up if it's the last thing I do.

I'm almost tempted to tell my boyfriend he is officially broken up with because look at you, sneezing and being tough about a fluffy baby bird. But alas, you are so illegal I can already feel the stripes on my clothes, so whatever.
[Lea is a bit of an ass, whoops, news at 11. Anyway! Snatching up the bitty red chocobo in his hands and holding the little thing out to the camera, which is promptly pecked at.]
To answer your first question, no, he doesn't! Second, you let them run around, get plenty of exercise, and feed 'em greens when they get older, although right now I'd recommend this formula I have on hand. And as for difficulty, it depends on the personality!
...Basically like a mix between a dog and a horse.

Usually it was Stein who was actively breedin' 'em and stuff. I didn't even know my pretty girl was egg-ready until someone I talked to told me something might be up! I just let what happens happen.
