| In light of the recent murders, I feel that a reintroduction of myself is in order. I am Earl Ciel Phantomhive. It is my duty at home to investigate such crimes, among other things, and I have taken the initiative to do so in this case.
[ He's seated in his favorite armchair in his home in the upper district, legs crossed and hands folded together. It might be a bit of a surprise to see such a young boy speaking so seriously and authoritatively about this subject, but Ciel's never been one to care for what others think. He's going to do what he does best regardless. ]
The perpetrator has made it very clear that they will kill again. I assume that it does not bear saying, but I ideally intend to catch them before they get the chance. I have spoken with members of the defense force already, and have been assured their support. If you have any information to share--suspicion, fact, anything at all--please do not hesitate to do so, especially in regards to the incident which occurred most recently. Most importantly, if anyone thinks they may have been witness to these events, I would ask that you come forward.

| [The SFC turns on without warning (or in this case, without its owner) and shows a dog sniffing at something on the floor. Whatever it is, puppy doesn't care; it's free game so it has the right to play with it. And by play, I mean start chewing it...or attempt to.]Where is it?! I thought I left here on the counter! [That's Madison's voice alright and she sounds pretty panicky over something she lost. Three guesses to where it is and who has it.]I know I left here! Why did I have to lose it right when I need it the most?! [It's just then the pup accidentally presses a button on the machine and the top flips to show something like a pointer. Then blue sparks suddenly fly out off screen, making the ranger yelp in surprise.]What the-?! [A pause before she speaks again.]Hey, drop that phone right now! [Busted, dog.] | |

| [The screen flickers to life, and a worn, exasperated face is shown. Once more, drenched to the bone in just his boxers and tank top, Gilbert Weillschmidt has returned to Vatheon - much to his irritation. He scowls at the Starfish Communitor, giving it a little shake out of frustration.]
Well, I never thought I'd be back here after somehow managing to get out of here. Why can't this freaky dimension make up its mind if it wants me or not? [It only held him for a few weeks before spitting him out, anyway! Gilbert almost felt insulted at the short time he had spent there]
Hrn, well...calling out to whoever's out there. Any people I know still lurking about, or do I have to start from the beginning...? Ah...

| [ What's up, Vatheon? It's your resident doctor-who-totally-isn't-Alpha come a-calling. Last we saw of him, he was battling off a fever or so during the last curse. Today, however, the feed is coming from his shared apartment with Mao. ]
I would like to take this time to announce that despite these unsettling events, I am still carrying on with my practice. However, as the clinic staff seems to be where the murderer is taking his targets, I'll be taking patients in my apartment starting tomorrow. Our hours are the same. Cielo, please report here in the morning. I can be found at Vita Apartments, fourth floor, room two.
Secondly, Shinra and I are going to be performing the autopsy of Cosette's body within the day. I am aware there are those who may find this information of use in any investigation and I will be more than happy to release the results as soon as they've been finalized.
For those I haven't had the pleasure of introducing myself to, I am Doctor Kazutaka Muraki, one of the city's resident physicians.
