To Whom It May Concern,
Truth is a very fickle thing. It can mean a variety of things, and yet mean nothing at all. Some people put great stock in truth, a phrase which here means "doggedly demand to know every little detail about your day so as to ascertain if you were doing anything they think you shouldn't have," and some people put no stock in it at all, another phrase which here means "don't seem to care what they say to you, as long as it proves entertaining or potentially devastating to you and any other enemies they may have in the long run."
I'm sorry to say, neither of these people are very pleasant.
There are also companies and organizations that take great care in either concealing or revealing the truth, and a great deal of them that do both at once, sometimes without even recognizing it. It's hard to truly tell which organization stands where, until you're standing outside your house, watching the fire destroy everything you once held dear, wondering why you had to be dressed in a suit of armor for the occasion, and why you hadn't simply put on something less involved before fleeing the premises.
In times like these, the truth can be extremely confusing.
